I was messing around with flycam again, and managed to grab some amusing shots. So, here's Flycam Shenanigans: Trespasser Edition. (These all take place during the opening scene, so light spoilers? Maybe? Subtitles were on.)

Thanks, riverbanks! I thought as much, but wasn't sure how would the game read the "quit later" choice, ecpecially with all the buggy choice imports (Gaspard on the throne, for instance).
Did anyone not get the Gaspard bug? I heard it was definitely bugged on the Celene + Briala world state, but I had the three allied and also got the bugged line. Wonder if they'll even bother fixing this. :\

Well, I actually did put him on the throne in my game, so technically my import wasn't bugged
Seriously though, I've heard there were like one or two people who didn't get it, but not sure. At least Patrick Weekes said in one of his tweets that it was only a dialogue bug, the actual import is unaffected.
Well since I'm here, might as well praise the hero of the thread a little - he's my favourite advisor and some of his responses on the War Table crack me up. My favourites are "No. This is ridiculous." and "Since we're being barbaric..." His romance is not my cup of tea (too sweet, like way too sweet for my taste... and I may or may not still ship him with the mage!Warden), but I'm glad there's a fluffy and mostly angst-free romance for those who prefer it.
I didn't have this bug,

His war table suggestions are hilarious, yeah. Even when his plan isn't the most sound for a certain mission, I still crack up hard every time he wants to solve some delicate diplomacy issue with "throw more soldiers at it." ![]()
I still think Cullen's a racist.
Let me prove it by providing a sentence and swapping out a mere two words from said sentence. In 1950s America, a common utterance by racist restaurant owners would probably be "I refuse to serve you because you are black." But let's do a little word shuffling here.
I refuse to _____ you because you are ______.
In Dragon Age Inquisition, Cullen is essentially saying
I refuse to romance you because you are Qunari/Dwarven. So. In conclusion, can someone explain to me how this doesn't make Cullen completely and utterly racist?
Greetings, all!!
Most of y'all probably know this already but Greg Ellis is currently playing DAI. He rolled up a male rogue archer and is going through "Wrath of Heaven" as we speak.
He's posting on Twitter as he plays -- @gregellis

Alright, here you go: https://www.dropbox....1E87E3.DAS?dl=0
Lv 23 human archer, Cullen romanced, no DLCs played, ready to start Trespasser after a quick stop by the Black Emporium if you want to rebuild your Inky's face. Save is on patch 10, so you should have that.
(I re-saved inside the Undercroft so you can quickly mess around with armors/weapons if you want to, and synchronized schematics through the nug so you'll get everything I've found through multiple characters. I think it should be no issue that I had the DLCs installed, whatever DLC schematics would come through the nug should just disappear, but let me know if you can't open the save or something and I'll get the original vanilla file back from January, before I had any DLCs even installed in the game.)
Enjoy your noodle prince romance content!
Yeah, because I don't have the DLC installed I can't open up the file
If you could get the vanilla file like you said, thatd be great

I had Celene ruling alone, Gaspard exiled, Briala ignored and Teagan correctly identified Celene.
Though in my second playthrough, when I forced them to cooperate, he identified Gaspard. ![]()

Yes, I should have Briala and Celene on the throne and instead of that they said Gaspard was on it -___-

I had all three allied as well, and frankly, it seemed already bugged in the main campaign the few times my choices were mentioned. So I figured it was just more of the same. They did tell me in Trespasser that Gaspard was on the throne. Grr.

I think it's pretty clear from the game now that we've all played it that the race gating was a game development time limitation for a late-added romance, since there's nothing in the storyline to support this. Nevertheless, you can choose to think this about him if you like. I do ask that you leave real world comparisons outside, since that actually violates the forum rules. Have a nice day.

LOL His ludditeness is rather adorable. I hope he enjoys it!

First off he never actually says that, and he's not utterly racist as you say because he will romance an elf. Look at Solas, he will only romance an elf, will you say the same of him?
Like R2 said, it's more time limitations than anything, and that has to be explained some way in the game.

Because using that insane troll logic, Cullen's also homophobic because he has the audacity to not want to have sex with a man?
People don't chose who they're attracted to, nor does it mean they are discriminating against [insert sexual preference here] just because they don't happen to be someone that they want to lie back and think of Ferelden with.
It's cute to see Greg/Jonny play to DA:I, I want to see his comments about the game and the character of Cullen
It must be so weird for him to play through the early game cutscenes with the advisors and hear his own voice coming out of Cullen...
at least it should help him place the lines he recorded back then.
Please, let us also leave the race gating / sexuality discussion to another thread.
Yes, please?

Oh boy. Not so subtlety threaten me with a report for making a valid comparison? And how exactly is that against the rules? Also, I love whenever people end a post with "have a nice day" they probably mean "kiss my ass" in reality. Such passive aggressiveness.

That's sex. This is race we're talking about. Two separate things. So no, not troll logic.
Also, as long as we're discussing Cullen, I don't see why I can't talk about this in the thread.
There's no prejudice in sexual preferences. That's like saying Dorian is a misogynist for not wanting to have sex with women.I still think Cullen's a racist.
