I only seem to have time for one solo game at a time. Though now that they've finished adding DLC, I may get into more DAI mods.

 

Since there is only one male body texture shared between all races except Qunari, I'm not sure what Solas and Dorian will look like with all that hair... 

 

I suppose you could add yet another modded patch to the game...one for hairy Cullen and another for non-hairy Solas and Dorian.

(thank you for this, I'm in the middle of the ball with Ghill and Baewall right now and didn't wanna close the game, rebuild patch etc just to test it. Buuut it's perfect, I'm def installing this the next time I'm playing with screencapping on Ariana's save )

I can confirm that if your face texture replaces texture #1 (Shantia's does this) then it is ok. If it's like every other texture mod out there and replaces texture #3, then it will not work in the BE and will cause freeze upon load.

 

Ah, that explains it. I don't use any eyebrow replacers (pretty content with the eyebrows in the game, anyway), so I hadn't noticed a difference in which textures were causing freezing. But that's good to know for reference.

Eyebrow replacements (Shantia's and MrJack's) should both be fine in the BE...and they will also show up in the mirror. 

 

Off the top of my head, the big "baddies" for the BE are:

• Skin textures that replace #3 will cause insta-freeze
• Hair retextures on any races that also have facial hair (human males and dwaven females come to mind) will freeze if you click on the mirror
• Any tattoo replacements I believe will cause insta-freeze (but it could just be the mirror - haven't tested that one)

I use so many different mods that I have separate patches for each IQ...for regular gameplay and for the BE.

Is there any more romance after the wedding? I know the epilogue slides must reference it, but is there more dialogue? Trying to remember when I actually see Cullen after the catching up with companions part, and IIRC  he wasn't even around at the end in my Solavellan playthrough. 

 

If that was it...  then I'm feeling kind of dumb I waited so long to try it out. :/  Talk about expectations...

No, there's a few more romantic moments, but the wedding is the bulk of the romance content.

 

Your expectations might be a bit skewed because you played through the Solas romance first? I thought Cullen's romance content was perfect, but when compared to all that Solas drama, no other LI's content will hold up.

Who knew you could kiss the bear without sinking three feet into the floor, or stepping up on invisible stools.

I admit, I can't watch the ending of the first kiss scene without also feeling as if she's fighting him off rather than enjoying it either...

Phew. Oh good. TBH, slogging through a DLC all about my ex-boyfriend in another life without much Cullen fluff honestly sounds... too painful right now.

I'd just doodled the exact same thing a few days earlier, kinda hoping that's what he would when Inky broke down, but not really believing they'd bother giving Cullen more attention, but then he did exactly that and I was over the moon.

 

This has come to be one of my favorite moments of the romance overall now, right up there with the final hug in front of the whole Inquisition at the end (when she comes back from fighting Corypheus). I love these moments when he steps down from being her Commander, her advisor, and is just her love at that moment, the only thing she needs right then.

He looked so sad .... I loved it, too!!! XD Seriously, I did not expect the extra treatment for Cullen from the devs. I seriously thought after the marriage proposal, that was it. I didn't expect the mabari. I didn't expect the actual marriage scene. And I certainly didn't expect the scene where Cullen acknowledged Inquisitor's pain/near-death state. Devs didn't have to do that, but they did. For that I am grateful
