I get that there's a lot of fan-pairings for Cullen which is cool...I just personally can't see him with anybody else but Lady IQ...I've waited too long to get Cullen and that's that!
Truth be told, I did not think much of Cullen in the previous two games. But in DAI (squees). If Cullen was NOT a romance option, I would probably not have played the game. Why? Cuz all the other romance options suck.
I would have been glad to have Cullen as a companion. But marriage? So much better. (squees again).
What happens to Cullen and Lady Quizzy is the ending Cullen deserves. Poor guy has been through hell. Bout time he gets a happy ending with the love his life.......and a dog as a bonus.

Considering their "meeting" in DA2 and the first half of DA:I, complete with having to pull her off of him when she found out he lied about Hawke, makes it that much better. Then again, I've always had the feeling that Varric has a thing for really dangerous women. I also have warped visions of converations with a mini-Cassaric - "Daddy, how did you meet Mommy?" "Hmm, it started when she had me kidnapped to interrogate me and she drove a knife through one of my books to get my attention. My PTs are kinda on hold for a few months except for slowly working through JoH off and on. Once I have a little free time again, I want to finish out the Cullen romance finally. I'm less attached to any of the romances than most people, I guess, because I'm looking forward to a future play through with the multiple romance mod

I don't understand that.... Is it just looks that ship them? I don't really like shipping them personality and history wise. It...doesn't sit well with me. I'm sorry to offend you, but any other ship with Cullen is fine (I understand Cullrian, so there's that). Then again, I sit on a 'Good Awakening Anders = Bad DA2 Anders' thing. I loved Anders in Awakening, I was so happy to give him his cat. He and Nathienal were always in my party. I loved ALL of the Awakening people (besides for Velenna...). Justice and my Cousland were tanking buddies (and Justice adored my Cousland. My Cousland was sad to see him go. She liked having a nice spirt around). I disliked DA2 Anders though, becuase the Humourous DA:A Anders was long gone sense then....

Cullanders... Okay I actually had a dream about them and that's the main reason why I was Cullen in the dream, and Anders was trying to help me escape Kirkwall. He created this portal through which he tried to get me to walk through, but I was nervous because I didn't trust magic (I'm Cullen, remember) and he ended up going without me, and then afterward the templars caught me and tortured me ;_; It was a sad dream.
Cullrian... I think Dorian just makes Cullen a bit grumpy and that dynamic is adorable to me. Dorian is so egotistical and such a smooth-talker, that I bet he makes Cullen role his eyes a lot, but secretly (in Cullrian headcanon) Cullen thinks it's cute.

Yeah, but usually you can tell when it's just straight up porn or badly written, (and not the good kind of badly written), when you're just looking at screenshots of the game or whatever. Most of the time, I think dating sims where you are primarily going after girls tends to fall on this end of spectrum and I'm just not interested. Though, sometimes, there's just so much batshit crazy that I'm just so in to it and I want it and I want it on my face and just all the bad endings because bad endings are best endings.

It has been around for forever. Back in 2005 I shipped two anime characters name Renji and Byakuya; the pairing was RenBya. Although I suppose that's not quite the same thing. Hmm, well there was also another anime/manga that blended two character names together, Yullen (Yuu x Allen). It pains me to bring that one up because I still hate that pairing so much after all these years lol
It is just a cute thing to do, I guess. Lavellan seems to work really well b/c I've seen Solavellan Cullavellan, Bullavellan, and Pavellan.
Only other DA pairing that does that, that hasn't been mentioned here, that I can think of is Merribela.

Dramatical Murder, (I think it's called), is the one I'm most interested in at the moment, (and I am not usually a fan of BL at all). The story just seems so interesting and apparently it has a lot of the tropes that I love, (like the insane bad endings). But a lot more visual novels and dating sims are coming to Steam, which is great and I am buying more or less all of them . A lot of them, even when they're bad, they're just so bizarrely, enjoyably bad, like watching the Room and I LOVE it. And if I were you, I'd keep my eyes on Steam, because I know there's a lot of upcoming stuff which will be relevant to your interests. (And usually the Steam version edits out the sex scenes)

I agree; it is part of my Lavellan's identity (and I understand you can marry Sera so if Cullen had been available to bro-quisitors it's cool to think you could actually marry him!) ... he would not give it up. He's very proud and it will be difficult for him to engage in a relationship with a human in the first place.
But that's just that particular Lavellan. My Solas-mance Lavellan is a pushover and a romantic and would take his partner's name in a minute.
My Cadash is proud of not so much her heritage but her own accomplishments, and her name is part of that, so no.

Off the top of my head...I'm not sure? I keep seeing new Kickstarters and things on Greenlight, so I'd suggest lurking around there or looking for places that might post links to these things because my memory sucks. I know Magical Diary might have a guy protagonist version coming out at some point with at least two s/s romances, (maybe three if the developer repeats a romance from the last one?). That was definitely one where you start off thinking this is just bad Harry Potter fanfiction or something and then you randomly realise you really love the characters.
