I think there's still no consensus on his hair from DA:O, except that a lot of the red seems to come from the indoor lighting in the Circle Tower. Once you take him outside, it's closer to a darker blond with reddish tints. Once upon a time, Gala tried for a lighting corrected comparison which showed they aren't actually all that different between DA:O and DA2. 

 

 

Nevertheless, I think you can just call his hair whatever you want. That's what everyone else has done over the years!

So on my usual look around for new mods, I found this little jewel here: Open All Halla Doors

 

I remember... someone in the thread besides me also had their completionist nerve struck badly by this quest, so if they're still around... yey, look at this! We can now complete all the subquests and still choose whatever ruler we want without depending on which coins or secrets or whatever you want to complete. ~Glorious.

It might have been me, not sure how much of my ocd I shared publicly. Still, awesome! This is my next mission in current pt. Perfect.

I couldn't keep a beautiful Cullen picture hidden away That's most definitely the kind of thing that needs to be shared for us all to appreciate. I am commissioning more from the artist as well - he's so wonderful, and a big DA fan. He said he had really good fun with the portrait as he thought of Cullen being chatted up at the Winter Palace bemused as to why they wouldn't leave him alone. But when he looks that good.....

 

The next one is going to be my Christmas present - I hope a full length one so there will be more!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is the best (as in my subjective favorite) Cullen fanart I've ever seen; it's amazing! It looks like a portrait. I can see a real person there. And he actually looks about 29, 30 years old, too.

Well, that's how it should be at this point. Cullen's story is pretty much over unless they really surprise us, while Solas's still has huge potential.

 

I'm still holding out hope that Cullen getting a pet Mabari was to set up for an epic spin-off where they fight crime together.

Yes, completely agree on the age. The artist has such an amazing ability to capture a spot-on likeness then make it real.

 

I had a few comments saying they wished it had been as good ingame but the funny thing is that it is based exactly on two fabulous images from the Winter Palace - this one and this one for the colour. I like my commissions to be as close to replicating Cullen as possible (if that makes sense) and this portrait has succeeded beyond my wildest expectations

YES. That is on my list too, to have an Alistair! His prices are actually surprisingly reasonable given how spectacular the results are - you should drop Gerry a line on DeviantArt and he'll give you a quote. He's doing my Inquisitor right now as well - that's a full body one (and I am already in love with just the sketch he sent me) and then he's hopefully going to do the two of them together next month. I have a whole list of commissions after that and my husband is going to kill me but I can't resist!

o.m.g. That elf lad is glorious, GLORIOUS!! And I see he used my favorite vallaslin from DAO, too bad it didn't make a return to DAI (I'm overall not fond of ANY of the DAI valleslin). 

 

Also he has a glorious female Lavellan who doesn't look like a delicate flower (which is fine and dandy but as an elf-lover I prefer the bad ass variety: Laila Lavellan).
