I know, he's super cute! Did you try to mod dao vallaslin into dai? (though dlcs don't play nice with any new warpaints so...)

 

Bad-ass f!Lavellan is my favourite Lavellan. Her outfit is awesome btw. This reminds me I need to install different body shape mod for my elves just to add some mass to my warriors and rogues.

I've seen a lot of people use "Blue" for their fics, because of the unusual color of the pup.

 

Me, I'm personally a fan of Brianne's suggestion that Cullen's the kind of simple guy who just calls his dog "Dog" or something, so for me he just named the pup "Pup."

 

I like the idea of Samson, though! It seems fitting and more sympathetic than I wish Cullen had been. I like it, maybe as a case of late regrets.  (although I'm also the person who headcanons Cullen naming his daughter Meredith, so. yeah.)

I headcannon "Carrol" because he was already far enough gone from lyrium before the red that he can't have chosen it competently. I think Cullen would have had sympathy for him.

My husband told me to name him 'Duke'. Said something about it sounding appropriate. I glared at him til he went away.

I've got a couple go to names I use for the dogs: Merric, Albrecht and Rebel.

The middle is after the Lackey's Albrecht from the Valdemar series, and the last was the name of my grandparents' dog.

Or maybe Indiana...

'I have a lot of fond memories of that dog.'

I nicknamed the Mabari, Colby. First thing that stuck in my head haha.

Oooo. I feel like I would give it both Common Tongue name and an elven name if Dalish. I think the mabari would be smart enough to respond to both of them.

 

'Lieutenant' sounds practical and like what Cullen would use :> while I named pup 'Suledin' because I like that word, reminds me of Suledin Keep - which I had a lot of fun storming it first time, and because of Solas XD

LOL I did this on every one of my DA2 playthroughs. :whistles innocently: I mean, sure, why  not name your mabari after your hometown King? ahem. Yeah, that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

I usually went with "Sobaka" which is Russian for Dog

 

I did give a couple of them a less generic name, but I get a bit bored with picking names...
