No. Nate stays. (I'm with Riverbanks, d****t, I'd have played Awakening into the ground if he'd been romanceable.)

 

I never read TME so I really have no impression of Michel other than some serious concerns that he would take part in the Chevaliers' ritual of murdering alienage elves. OTOH, he was trying to right things in the Emprise, so I dunno. He really doesn't have much to say in DAI that lets you get a sense of him, the way you can Rylen's snark. And Barris is very hot, and definitely gets points for questioning the Templar leadership, but I can't get a good sense of him beyond that.

 

Other than Nate (he wasn't actually a companion in a main part of the game) I'm not going to start getting into other companions. But other NPCs...Harding, hands down. The only reason she wouldn't edge out Nate or Rylen is, well, she's a woman . And (though I think I'm the only person in fandom who even noticed him) I like Adan. But like I said, sarcasm and what we used to call p**s-and-vinegar is much more attractive to me than looks (though I'm not knocking those as a bonus .)

Romanceable Nate... Eh... I would love to try my hands of Nate romancing Cousland. 

 

I'm slowly finishing Asunder, so I should start TME soon. That's why my placing of Michel was purely based on his DAI appearance.

edited to add: I realize now you meant about Cass? For myself, naw, I've never romanced her and may never at this rate, so I don't care about being spoiled on any of the other endings. I think it's too late now to worry about it much at this point. And frankly, I think I need to do a speed run through the Cass romance youtubes because Number One Son has chosen her as his girlfriend. gulp. I understand there is s. e. x.

I'd look, but all the YouTube videos are suddenly restricted access, and I'm not interested in getting a YT account just to log in ( ) Apparently, even digital boobs are now considered too racy for anyone under 18, sigh.

Fairbanks, I had to look him up... ah yes, he's quite good-looking, though I seem to recall he has a sort of upper crust English accent, which I guess makes sense considering his origins or wait is it an Orlesian accent?? Geez I literally cannot remember. Either way something about his voice irked me, though his character reveal was a pretty curious and pleasant surprise.

Fairbanks is Orlesian.

 

You'd have to fight that one elven girl in Skyhold to romance him, though.

There's no graphic sex (not even implied dry-humping like Cullen's desk scene), it just fades to black after a kiss, but~ the scene after that does have the IQ and Cass talking shirtless, and her boobs do show for much of that conversation. Can't link to a screencap here, but if you google Cassandra romance scene, the first or second image result should show you what I mean.

 

I do think there's a mod at the nexus that replaces the naked body models with the swimsuit from Trespasser, so you could cover them up for Little R2 if he's too young for that yet. That's really the only risqué content of Cass' romance, the rest is all cuteness, flowers and poetry. I thought Cullen's romance was a lot more spicy than Cass' despite having no boobs on display, what with the dry humping and kinky double entendres everywhere.

 

(of course, nothing beats Blackwall's and Sera's in terms of spicy. sex in the barn, BJ and fisting jokes in public, pubes-shaving as a gift... those romances are definitely not for kids. )

Understood. I just keep thinking there was so much... inertia behind them stopping for little things like getting up a ladder not so much.

Somebody may have gone back down between to get clothing. But I wouldn't have any experience with that.

Doing it on the desk is hot. Trying to figure out how they went upstairs and when kind of breaks the scene for me. Also all the broken glass on the floor from the bottles. John Mclan would be twitching (Die Hard reference).

 

On the plus side it offers tons of jokes!
