I... I totally forgot he was a companion!  I've actually only played Awakening once and was not very fond of it. I thought Nate turned out pretty well in DA2 though

 

:shrug: We officially decided to not worry about spoilers anymore, so... I'm not. We can revisit if folks want. 

 

Yeah I haven't played the romance but it would be crazy to wait for me b/c who knows when I will get to it. I'll be careful about any videos posted though b/c one thing I don't want to do is actually see the scenes play out (though I've seen gifs and know about all the "famous" scenes, like the desk scene). 

 

I do know that for the mod the first romance cut scene has to be skipped in order to make the mod work; that's not the desk scene, is it? I hope not.

I've seen a screen shot of a male with Cullen in the very publicly private moment, if that's what you're thinking of? So unless that person was using a different mod, apparently it's OK.

Hmm dunno, guys, guess I'll have to wait and see :-\ I know the people working on the mod worked and worked on it for months but couldn't get that first scene to work. In fact the only way to get the mod to work period originally was to have two different mods, one to initiate the flirting, then skip first romance scene, then install the second mod, blah blah blah... was very confusing, hence why i waited so long. But apparently this latest mod is only one file, which is a relief. But supposedly the "missing first scene" issue is still an issue, so oh well. At least the person was (allegedly) able to restore the inquisitor's voiced dialogue. EDIT: I mean nothing by the word "restore"; I know it was not originally intended to be there and I fully acknowledge that, just can't think of a better word

OH yeah, I've seen that one, too. Well, however it works, even with one less scene, it still has as much or more content than most of the other romances.

Happy birthday! People are like wine, they get better with age.

Thank you! Though it's more frustrating because the birthday is the sign of the season of holiday madness, and like out dear Commander, I'm no howling extrovert. Or an extrovert at all, to be honest.
 

I haven't gotten Trespasser yet. I finished a PT with my Solasmancer before JoH and Descent and haven't really wanted to go back to play those without him in the party. My Cullenmancer finished JoH and I'm cleaning up a few things before I take her into Descent. After that, she just has Arbor Wilds to be down to the final fight.

I had to reboot because somewhere along the line I ended up with Viv as Divine. And that will NEVER happen. So I need to take her back to an earlier point. Then I decided I needed a change of scenery and rolled a new character. I've never been able to play a rogue all the way through so am going to try and I think I'll try a spec other than assassin.
 

At that point I'll get Trespasser. I promised my younger daughter all 3 of the DLCs as one of her XMas presents; she drifted away to another game after she finished one run and came back not long before Trespasser and started a Cullenmancer (I finally got to gossip with her about it last weekend because she hadn't wanted romance spoilers) and now she's excited about playing the DLCs because of Trespasser.

Mine's still kind of too young for DA, though she REALLY wants to play it and Mass Effect.
 

And B5 is one of my all-time favorite shows! The last show I watched regularly on TV in fact; I loved the rangers.

I've got all five seasons plus the movies . I was okay with first season, thought the pilot really blew my socks off. But when they signed Bruce Boxleitner for Sheridan... well, had a crush on his since Tron, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, etc.

Plus Marcus. I have a thing for men with accents.
 

Ouch, I'm sorry your daughter ran into that. And sad that so much of that still lingers. Someone quit my younger daughter's girl scout troop when they found out she was agnostic so she wouldn't have to be around her. Though, something I'm curious about that maybe you can answer...the friend of ours who's going to be the father of the bride for my oldest this weekend used to tell my kids he was Hannukuh Harry so he could give them gifts every year. His wife told me to shush and let him spoil them, but I'm still suspicious about how "ancient" a tradition that is...?

Hannukah Harry is more a running gag in most places than a real tradition. Hannukah itself did't start with the gift giving and all until the early 20th century or late 19th iirc. Much of that was in reaction to, well, Christmas. Not wanting the kids to feel left out among other things. Hannukah is actually a minor minor holiday, and it's something like a 4th of July: We're free and not dead, yah! We have a few of those. Passover being the most well known.

I want to see Jealous!Cullen!! Some visiting dignitary or one of the inner circle member flirts with inky and I want to see how Cullen would react to that. Something like Cullen getting jealous of Dorian? After his personal quest, of course, inky and Dorian know where they stand and it's all just for fun. But Cullen doesn't know!!!! Hence the good old-fashioned jealousy.

It /was/ worth it, far more sweet than I had expected based on what I knew of it "lol on a desk" and now I have a save point right there *ahem* (I create save points right before romance cut scenes for all characters, don't judge me XD)

Your not the only one. I always save the game right before I speak to Cullen. Then (coughs) replay it a few times and move on.

The romance just means its locked-in. There is still plenty of romance material in dialogue and/or shown. As for you and Cullen getting another "do it again" cut scene. Sadly, that is the only one.

 

Now you could play match maker and get Bull and Dorian together

I would love too actually, but my dialogue is bugged and so I can't get anything to trigger. Xbox one problems

Edit: scratch that - I just sat out in the Emerald Graves for an hour doing nothing but standing still and all my missing banter started playing. So happy for Dorian who will now get an amatus
