So Lola asked me to post her latest DA speculation video, this one on the Titans. Seems she can't login here anymore so she also says, "Hi!"

Well, when you go get the lyrium (which I almost called lithium for a moment) stores in CoJ, the container is the the same shape but huge by comparison and the implication is that it's the last of the untainted stores. And it is enough to get the job done and let you get to Envy.And insanity after a month? Okay, what does that say about our boy? I knew Cullen was pigheaded strong willed, but damn.

ah, sorry, I meant the vials in that pic with Cullen's kit. Evangeline's sound about the same size as those.

But, yeah, Cullen's recovery from addiction is quite something given all the lore up until now that made it sound pretty hard to ever stop taking lyrium. Frankly, his deus ex machina recovery is sort of part and parcel of how they simpified his issues in this game... but I'll stop my broken record there. Esp since I'll have to dodge those stones inside my glass house... full of fic where he found ways to wean himself off the stuff in various ways.

LOL Or at least have more of a story to it! Pfft. Then again, it's not like he had to shrug off death with some lyrium-imbued ashes of a dead woman.

There was this making of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom documentary on PBS, and I'm pretty sure the DVD set has it in the extras, but Spielburg makes this great comment about how he realized he'd painted himself into a corner, and how he got out of it:

Ran real fast and hoped his footprints wouldn't make a mark.

At this point I'm just willing to say he's here because fate, in the form of Flemeth, wanted him here. He got serious indirect intervention from her twice.

 

Would have died or gone mad if she hadn't saved the HoF, and who knows what would have happened if Hawke had died in the Wilds.

 

He was supposed to be there. But then that's a theme. The right people in the right place at the right time. Or it seems to me anyway.

I was wondering about the spoon, the knife thing and the 2 stabbedy looking things xD all to measure? So is lyrium dust in the yellowish container? If yes what is in the brown one?

 

The lyrium is in the blue and white one. I would assume that the spoon used to measure out portions of the dust. At least one of the two container devices is probably to measure liquid to get the proper ratio or some such. 

 

The thing that really makes me nervous is the small razor on the far left. It looks (and God I hate saying this) like something (spoilers for potential trigger)

And then write fan fiction to fix them.

 

Now I will shut up and try and figure out the relationship Cullen has with Hawke's dog. I swear, if Qunari have dragon blood mixed in Fereldens have Mabari blood, or Mabari have Ferelden blood. Not sure how that works.

It doesn't look like a razor to me, tho. It looks like the handle on the yellow thing, which may be some kind of grinder or mixer. Note how it's little indentation in the box that holds it touches that for the yellow thing, suggesting that they're not independent implements? To me that looks like a handle attached to the center of the yellow thing and you could turn and either grind or mix what's inside. They all just look like measuring and mixing tools to me.

You're right. I missed the small grove that connects them. With that, yeah, measure tools, but still creepy Andraste blessed measurement tools (that carving... shudder)

Ahem, holy cow. I was looking for the previous link and ran across a tumblr post of other recommendations I hadn't gotten around to yet. Gulp. Dunno if it will be finished but what's there is... ahem...  well, it's very fluffy smutty and culleny.
