Sooo my computer was fixed and I think I want to start the Cullen romance today, squeee!!!!

 

R2, do you think you could do that magic search thing you do and find the post where someone said the latest Cullen romance mod was out? I believe I downloaded it onto this laptop, but I'm not sure that's the right one. And romance mods are so difficult to locate b/c their creators are afraid of being harassed and so hide them or don't put them on Nexus.

 

Though I guess I could ask Adela, too; bet she'd know!

 

EDIT: I think I found it! About to load up the game, thankfully all mods merged successfully; we'll see if everything shows up in CC that's supposed to... #ModsAreHard

Okay, so far my game won't load LOL I removed the "No Mustache Dorian" mod since it's not a daimod and thought maybe that was the culprit. A few people said it started working again but apparently not. Remerging... #ModdingIsHard

 

EDIT: Still not loading /SCREAMS INTO THE HEAVENS

 

EDIT: Deactiviated all mods and still not working >.< So just deleted mod manager and am repairing my game now. UGHHHH this is why I wanted to wait until vacation; this is taking up the rest of my sunday afternoon!!

 

EDIT: STILL NOT WORKING I'M SO PISSED NOW.

Ugh! Are you sure they repaired the computer completely back to spec? I haven't heard of anyone having that kind of persistent problem when it wasn't hardware related, and frankly, they've really dropped the ball with your computer repeatedly.

BWAHAHHAA You think I sent it back to Dell? Nah I gave it to my dad. Who's a real jerk, but boy does he know computers. He figured out it was the power cord and just replaced it, so now it works great again!

 

AND - it was the mod manager somehow?? I repaired the game, deleted mod manager, and downloaded it again. And now I'm testing mod by mod, but so far so good! Everything is loading, including the Cullen romance mod

But yeah so the game is playing swimmingly now!! Of course I spent about an hour in CC ... and the results really suck imo:

Somehow his skin is too light, his facial structure is bumpy, and his jaw is OUT TO HERE. Ugh, ugh, UGH. I was trying to copy my Pell Lavellan:

Who is a handsome devil if ever I made one, but nooooo. Just because it's Auren, my canon I've been dreaming about for YEARS he comes out looking fugly as hell. Sigh, thank god for Black Emporium at least. I don't know why they don't think face codes are important. Maybe it is just too hard for them to do. Like, you know, everything I else I wanted in this game and didn't get lol (including good hair)

 

EDIT: I think what I'll have to do is bring up Pell's save, go into BE, take screen shots of all the sliders, then go and fix Auren. Geez why is it that I've always felt the urge to mod the hell out of DA games but ME I'm quite content to have on xbox??
