Comparing to DA:I, DA2 Cullen now feels like the hot younger brother. 

I'll take one of each.

So, working my way through Trespasser slowly on my Cullenmancer, and got this line that I didn't remember seeing on anyone's PT...

The "again" surprised me. Apparently there must have been a visit one way or another between the main story and this...

Hmm, I've been trying to remember if there's any other mention of this. The romanced epilogue actually contradicts it.

Unless by "siblings" it means everyone but Mia were "meeting" the IQ for the first time. And Mia maybe came to them instead.

It could also be interpreted as them meeting her as Cullen's new wife, but not necessarily that they haven't met her previously. Just referring to the "new" title of sister-in-law. So to speak. Maybe....?

Yeah it's a little clunky sounding but that's what I was thinking, since she is only sister-in-law for the first time now lol

 

EDIT: Or could be that Mia stopped being eager to see you, and is yet again eager to meet you for the first time! Somehow I doubt that it's that one though hahaha

 

EDIT 2: I mean it has been a couple years between the end of the game and Tresspasser right, so it makes sense that if they could pop over to Ferelden for a quick snog by a lake during the game, that afterwards they could go back and visit his family too. I'm sure they were just dying to meet her anyway haha

 

PS. I just was reminded again by the epilogue mention how much I love the art :') so cute...

I wouldn't have said that I was overjoyed to meet my brothers' wives at their wedding receptions. Greet them, maybe, but the word that I think most people would use would be "welcome" if they already knew the new family member. Of course, the most likely explanation is that this dialogue wasn't coordinated with the ending slide. I was mostly surprised that I can't remember anyone pointing out that dialogue before, especially because of its potential for fanfic of that meeting, lol, though I'd expect the dialogue choice about Cullen and his nephew playing chess to be the popular one.

Yeah, I tend to agree with this. Altho it *could* mean that they wanted to meet her as their new sister in law, it's an awkward way to say that. The fact that in that one sentence they say both "long overdue" and "meet their new" both connote that this is a first meeting of any kind. 

 

So that's my own thought: that the epilogue writers just didn't coordinate with the banter writers. LOL Or, perhaps the writers got caught up in all the headcanon floating around about Mia storming in to Skyhold at some point. That's why I had to go back and remind myself what the Trespasser codexes about him *actually* said.

I was just sayin that I do realize some people consider solas highly problematic and some did sent me very colourful personal messages on tumblr since my initially Cullen-Heavy blog becomes more or less Fen'Harel's rest. But murder or not, it's still Var Lath Vir Suledin, Bellanaris. I'm not asking you to retract your statement since there are truth in it

 

I think its disrespectful for Lavellans to expect Cullen to drop all of his beliefs. A relationship is a two way street. If he respects her she should respect his beliefs as well.

I remember getting that line. I assume it's not as weird to have Mia actually coming to SKyhold or that in the 2 years they managed to get Cullen a break to bring his lover home to meet the family?

Yeah, I think the person who made it was likely referring to DA2, or maybe both, or who knows. I frankly think he was smokin' in DA2, and I'm pretty fond of Original Recipe as well. But the hipster-ness of it tickles me nonetheless.

My female Templar Hawke is still pissed she couldn't jump on Cullen and ride him into the afterlife...DA:I is hot too, but not in the same way the DA2 was for me. Of course DA2 was the first DA game I played, so maybe that is some of it. All I know is I still want to bite and nibble my way all over him whenever I play DA2....yummy!

They can be hard to see, for sure. I'll never forget how puzzled I used to be that I even picked an eye color in DA:O, because none of the characters, mine included, had an eye color. Ends up it was my low graphics settings. Pfft.
