They can be hard to see, for sure. I'll never forget how puzzled I used to be that I even picked an eye color in DA:O, because none of the characters, mine included, had an eye color. Ends up it was my low graphics settings. Pfft.
Ha, same here! Until I saw a Twitch streamer playing DA:O and his character had blue eyes and I was like 'wtf, I thought they all had black eyes?' But yeah, turns out my graphics settings were on low.

Mmm, avvar Cullen is like my guilty pleasure these days. The other one I've enjoyed is Captivated. Almost more Outlander inspired than Lowlander. But also wonderfully smutty. 
The other one I'm following like a woman drowning isn't Cullen at all, but Solas. Message Sent is going to be the death of me. Esp since I think I heard that it probably won't end happily. Sigh. Which is par for the course, I suppose.
(oh, and thanks!! hee hee I'm afraid I'm a little obsessed with Fool's Errand right now... I will finish it! soon. ish. Once I get the crazy ass climax to work out.)

For Cullen fic, there's Act of Reclamation by the Second Seal. I love her portrayal of Cullen & her many OCs.
If you like Solas fic, there's this writer whose work I happens to get obsessed with like...
- Pride and the Beast, a Beauty & the Beast AU where Young Solas is Belle
- The Bagel Fic (Modern AU where Solas is basically a bakery owner... This is a story about bagels and not solas! Okay that's not true...)
- Looking Glass (timetravel Lavellan thrown into the ancient Arlathan and well... Young Solas. As endearing as Cullen, but the very core is still Solas-y. And well, basically a whole new level of everything. It's a world a part, a terrifyingly beautiful and cruel and fascinating one. Go do some titan hunting, explore the Fade, meet the Evanuris, discover slowly the true identity of who and what Fen'Harel was, long before Solas became one. Learn about the Spirit & Demon and Red Lyrium and Purple ones and the consequences of Time Travel. About the history of the elves before Arlathan when they were wanderers following dragons, a city of gleaming, floating crystals and magic, a land filled with terribly constructed beast as hunting ground, corrupted spirit trapped under the floor. A super slow burn story where the first kiss is at 200k words.). Filled with OCs and damned, fascinating ones. A rare fic where things happened in such pace, and people do things also in such pace.
Although... While Beauty & the Beast one shot ends beautifully in a witty way, & The Bagel Fic is really fluffy funny thing, Looking Glass will end quite bittersweetly at best, horribly scarring readers for life at worse. I'm trying to bribe the writer to please for Haven's sake let it be a happy one, but the best I can get out of her is that she promises me in at least one of the thousand alternate universe of that LG fic it'll be a happy one.
Guys, can someone help me please? This is not Cullen but I need to choose a picture among the three option for the Vallaslin complexity below... If anyone can tell me what looks better?
I'm having a very harsh time choosing. This character is like Andruil's highest rank hunter in that goddamned LG fic I mentionned above. So normally the most complex sounds probable but I still prefer that face without any Vallaslin 
Any opinion is welcomed

Bonus: No Vallaslin (favourite)
I think I prefer Option 1 but I haven't read that particular fic and I will admit to knowing very little about the intricacies of vallaslin.
