What do you mean exactly? You mean like the prompt for creativity is kissing Cullen?

How about if we all try to make a poem all together on what would each of us do to/with Cullen on St Valentine's day? Like a line per person and it must rhyme

It can be something funny, on friendship term or romance or whatever it is! Or we try to make it sounds like a limerick or that something something pentatonic something poetey stuffs. Or do a Cullen-themed three words game (last time I did we had dracula playing Kylo Ren Voodoo doll in the Black City and that was hilarious XD)

Um, I really don't either except that someone has just chosen to hate Cullen, so calls anything he does "criminal." Without knowing the details or the definitions they're using, tho, there's really nothing to comment on. The "oh, I forgot, I hate Cullen" waves have started to percolate across the Tumblrverse again, so :shrug:. 

 

Yeah...Cullen just did what he thought he was supposed to do as a good, obedient Templar, not to mention all the **** he'd been through...Blackwall did what he did for his personal reasons.

Well, to be fair, I don't know that any of the characters' motivations can be boiled down so simply, which is what makes them all so interesting! For example, I could argue that Cullen's devotion to the ideals of the Order is also for personal reasons. I think any kind of comparison like that necessarily needs to be more nuanced. Every one of them has personal reasons for doing what they do, just as I'm sure someone could call them a 'criminal' in some context.

We've done limericks before, but that's always fun. I LOVE the 'telephone poem' idea. I don't know how it work except that there was an order of folks who each got to do the next part, since we're so asynchronous around here. I dunno. But there's bound to be a way, if folks were interested.

My point was more that folks would have to sign up so that they know when it's their turn, as opposed to doing it in real time. I see that on tumblr sometimes, and it's always a disaster.

I'm techy but not super techy. Anyways, Thinking about getting the pc version for myself since it's the GOTY edtion and it's on sale. I have my pc specs, but was wondering if anyone can take a look at them to let me know if they are good enough to have the game run on my pc.

Realistically, I think the less coordination it requires, the better. So while I like the telephone poem idea... it requires work. And probably more people than we have these days to participate, unless we just looped around round robin. 

 

Might be better to find a prompt or theme, and then folks could chose... whatever format suits them. Like we do with the celebrations. I've always been partial to the 100 fic model, as you all know! I'm also enchanted with this microfic twitter notion of only 140 characters for a whole fic. I haven't actually tried that myself, but I LOVE trying to be creative while working within the limits. But not everyone is as keen on it.

 

For V-day, the prompt could be something like a kiss or couple thing, or it could be more general like 'how did he get his scar?' (altho we've talked about that a lot already recently).  

 

What about... the set up of a scene (inspired by Vday), and everyone finishes 'what happens next?' in their own way? Like, draws a pic, outlines a scene, writes a fic or a dialogue or whatever?? Like, I dunno, something like:

 

"Did you see it yet?" Sera asked Cullen, biting her lip.

 

"See what?" he responded suspiciously. 

 

She grinned. "You should head to the tavern." She sauntered away, but over her shoulder, added, "I didn't realize it was Valentine's Day."
