I'm fine with Garrett! In fact I kind of prefer arts with Garrett instead of someone's personal Hawke, not sure why... same with Isabela x FemHawkee, I prefer Marian. Even though I used my own versions to romance them...

I like Merrill. I really like Merrill. I love Merrill. I love MeriBella's interaction. Either taking their relationship as romance or friendship or something in between or actualy adopted sisters, I'm in. Same with F!Hawke & Merrill

It takes lots of courage to stay kind and optimist as she is in a world that treats her cruelly. It's easier to just be salty and lose the light. Somehow, among lots of companions, I feel like Varric & Bella are among the very very few (even to Hawke's inner circle) that realize that.

Yes! I loved Ausleses when I lived in Buch, Germany. It isn't the sweetest wine - berenauslese is sweeter (a little too sweet for me) and icevine, which to me was almost cough syrupy sweet.

I honestly know very little about wine; it's not my thing and tends to give me a headache. I much prefer whiskey and vodka drinks. Lately the sazerac is my drink of choice. I had a Moscow mule the other day that was pretty awesome, too.
And YEAH! Finished!! I'm really happy with this fic... and happy with R2 and whomever else suggested we do this ^^ It felt great to spend the evening writing fanfic!! I'm so excited I wish I could share it now lol

I have a draft of the second story (under 700 words) done and about half of the original story I started which actually responded to the prompt. But I'd really like to get my next chapter out tomorrow, which is finally at the proofreading stage. So, I'll try to finish that tomorrow morning, proofread this new short tomorrow night (it's pure humor and doesn't need a lot,) then try to finish the other one too. I may not be able to finish the story based on the prompt until late on Sunday. Hopefully I can have both of them out on Sunday. And I agree, Arte, it was fun to spend the evening writing fanfic.
YEAH! If I have time tomorrow I may do some 100 word flash fics, too, cause why not?
I have this thing about endings. Like, I suck at them? And I feel this one suffers from that same problem. I could ask for a beta but I've never done that before and it feels weird. Maybe I'll let it sit and read it with fresh eyes tomorrow evening.
Anyone else have trouble with endings? I think I get excited/relieved that the story's almost over and I tend to rush it.
I am quite envious of you folks's ability to do the whole writing a fic thing. Urge to write hits me once in a while for things like that but never lasts long enough to get even a few paragraphs down (ones that are all in the middle too, beginnings and endings hate me). Hats off to you people.
