I thought it's one of those "funny because it's true" things where you relate to what they are saying and you're like "haha yep, same". Also they are mostly just Bioware employees not actors, other than Mark Meer of course. I mean I've liked their other videos better but yeah.
aaaaand, you're now channeling the response I typed... and deleted.
Yeah, yet another Bioware tradition: flirting terribly close with outright mocking the fans for their reactions.
I think I'm on the "funny cuz it's true" train but I can definitely see where it's teetering on mocking. I'm just going to put my rose colored happy glasses back on and pretend the ickiness isn't there. ![]()
I absolutely love Milligan Vick's cosplay photography. So much fun and well done!

Yeah, I reckon she must've, but I honestly don't recall what happened. :puts on annoying OCD hat: maybe I should ask her so I can add it to the wiki.
Which is one of the reasons I mentioned her. Her pro-Templar Cullenmance was very darkly intriguing, which is how I remembered her in particular.

(and yeah, the badges have just exploded of late; but hey, they're working!)
HIIIIII! *GLOMPS*
About the video.... yeah.... =/
Yay badges? =)

In a way I like it because what we mean when we say something is now how it comes out. But on the other hand, I kind of like how this game encourages people to be mindful of how our words sound to companions. For example, the aforementioned Cullen situation, and how he might feel that, "Okay, if I'm supposed to put my personal feelings aside for the good of the Inquisiton, then we shouldn't be together either since that's a distraction from helping the Inquisition." Or the Iron Bull: by telling him to sacrifice the Chargers for the good of retaining his ties to the Qun, from his perspective you're basically telling him that his individual feelings and relationships outside the Qun don't matter and that he should put the loyalty of the Qun above all else. Then people get surprised when it applies to them and their relationship. =/
Good point. The same we have headcanons for our PCs, other characters have their own opinions about the PCs. Which is a nice lesson: you may know your feelings and intentions and you may decide your words and actions, but the reaction they may have on other people are outside your control.
That Cullen breaks up with the Inquisitor after taking lyrium again and that Iron Bull betrays them in Trespasser is a logical conclusion from their point of view, regardless the PC's intentions.
I saw it with Solas too. In the final scene in Skyhold before the final battle, a Solas who is friends with the Inquisitor will ask what motivates them. No matter the answer, you can see that Solas will use it to justify his own position.

So new chapter for this fine Sunday!
Fool’s Errand by R2s Muse
Chapter 25: Welcome Back (ao3) (ffn)

Can he earn her trust in time to regain what he’s lost and finally redeem them all for the role they played in igniting the mage-templar war? Set in 9:40, after the events of DA2 and Asunder, now slightly AU to DA:I. Now rated M.
Chapter Summary: Cullen races back to Denerim while Hawke falls out with her friends in the aftermath of Cullen’s betrayals.

It would have been nice if the dialogue had been different for each response. I love a game with choices but I hate it when the choices all yield the same result. Even if it's just a dialogue difference, I'd welcome unique outcomes for each option. =/

Awwww, feel better!
Thanks! My fault for not remembering to take something last night.
Fortunately this is also a late (and short) day for me, so I have time to go back to bed for an hour or two.

That's a lovely painting of our dear commander. It makes me want to try and finish this damn playthrough (yes I'm still not done. PS4 went stupid after an update and I had to send it in for repairs) so I can finally romance him. I tweaked my back so I'm not getting any sleep right now. Can't sit in a chair long enough to write my fic... =/

Sitting is uncomfy after a few minutes without pillows. If I sit in a desk chair, it immediately gets tense and aches and gets progressively worse as the minutes pass. I can sit sideways like half lying on one hip or the other. I can sit up on the bed with a pillow under my derrière and my feet planted down, at hip level. Like a sitting squat or chimp kind of thing. The discomfort is across my hips and the lower back feels weak for pulling myself to full upright standing. I can do it but it begins to ache around the lower back if I don't allow it to slouch a little. Lifting my legs for stairs also feels a little tender and achy on the back of my hips until I've done a few steps.

Keeping the original source with the art.

True story, this was the picture that finally inspired the character I would use for my Cullavellan playthrough. ![]()
(I even used the shaved side braid mod to vaguely resemble this picture--even though the bun from the original movie might have been better--and made her a rogue partly because they're resourceful fighters the way Mulan is resourceful in the movie.)
Oh yeah, and keeping with DA Mulan silliness XD

(I can't be the only one who thought of this when the Herald thwarts Corypheus' attack on Haven.)

I've been creeping around BSN all night, looking up old stuff and basking in nostalgia. It was as lovely as it was sad. Buuuuuuut! I suddenly felt like dusting off my old DA2 fic with F!Hawke/Cullen! I don't know if I'll ever post more on it but I did make some edits to existing chapters and began a new chapter. I'd forgotten how much I like these characters and their lives! And I've missed them so! =) Inquisition is nice but it just doesn't have the same intimacy that DAO and DA2 have.

Yeah... =/ I can't help wondering... "Have we really said and done and explored every possible aspect of Cullen there is? Surely not!"
Yet, I'm not sure this is unique to our thread. It seems all of BSN is slowing down. Like Bioware broke through its cult status and is more widely played by gamers. It's lost that intimacy it once had.

Well there are still people going crazy all the time on tumblr and the like, maybe people just aren't as much into the forum format as in the past?
