I liked Kitten Orphanage  :crying: (Confession: I actually dislike mabari because they look like those big dogs who tend to slobber a lot... Tish now hates me utterly) I like that it hearkened back to our old days and didn't specifically mention Cullen.

I love Cullen but I thought the idea was to open it up to general Dragon Age or even general BioWare chat, just with our usual group of friends :)

Agree that "Came for the Cullen..." etc. is too long.

"The Redoubt" is actually super cool. Or anything mentioning a specific place in Thedas, like Therinfall (i can't spell it, sowwy) Redoubt or Honnleath Hangout or osmething lol

But it's no biggie if I'm the one dissenting vote; i will go wherever and with whatever!

:( :(

:P Nah, I can understand that. I prefer the breeds that don't drool myself (and I completely lack patience with high pitched barkers that won't shut up.) However, I headcannon mabari to be what they heavily implied in DA:O, particularly in the Cousland origin - mabari were magically enhanced and are intelligent enough to understand most of what people say. I've assumed some concepts are outside their normal potential just because they'd think differently from humans. Which is to say, I assume any drooling Dog did in DAO (when stealing from Zevran's pack?) was with malice aforethought...

I noticed you guys have been discussing the move and whatnot and thought you'd like to know that Fexelea has successfully imported DAI to fextralife.

Cullen thread is here--

http://fextralife.co...11?start=138840

--I believe it's mostly intact minus more current posts past the importing. :)

And if you're concerned about the look of the site, Fexelea has mentioned that it is being redesigned.

Edit: forgot to mention that you need to make sure you claim your account so that you can reclaim your posts on that site. Account claiming is here:

Artemis makes a good point about the new titles under discussion being very Culleny. We could just call it "The Ark (Ye Olde Cullen Thread v.4.0)".  Or, "The Ark, a character discussion thread (aka Ye Olde Cullen Thread v.4.0)" or something like that.

I def want the Cullen thread in there somewhere so people can find us, but we can find a way to differentiate in the OP, I think.

Also... :whistles appreciatively: the fexelea import is pretty slick. So... that's still an option. We could just... be us, in our own space, with our own history.

I think only saying Cullen once in the name is actually an improvement (I'd thought about it earlier). I'm OK with either version of that and think it sounds more inclusive and less likely we're trying to displace the other thread.

I'll go wherever the rest of ya'll go as far as forums.

Mmm, that fextralife forum definitely looks neat  B)

Frankly I don't mind mind it either way. May I just say I am so happy that life of the Cullen thread got extended (regardless of whether we'll make a use out of it or not). Though it's pretty quiet there.

There was kind of a rush to start and gather at a new forum (I believe in part because of some user drama). The new, veteran-run bsn.boards has almost 1000 members but apparently when it comes to google searching for ME:Andromeda forum Fextralife comes up more easily (on the first page, I think) while bsn.boards doesn't. So it might be that fex will attract more new users (along with the ones already on the site for the other games) while the boards might end up being mostly just us refugees.

There's also The Refuge which is in-progress and hasn't launched yet:

https://forum.biowar...out-the-refuge/

So many options. I suppose only time will tell...

Ah, good point. I feel like I have thread ADHD... I see a new witty name and start grabbing without thought. "Ooo, ya! Let's go with - SQUIRREL!!!"

Yep, yep. Just enough Cullen for people to find us but not so much as to make one feel like we're all Cullen, all the time.

Man, that fextra sure is purdy!
