The devs keep hinting at something BIG

I just need to talk about something.

I know David Gaider said on tumblr, that they don't just bring characters back because of the fan love. But I'm pretty sure that our love was the reason why they sent Cullen to Kirkwall, why they gave him this big role and more character development. And now he's returning in DAI, and he's still voiced by Greg Ellis, and we can romance him, and they even made Greg Ellis sing!

I don't know what people at BioWare were thinking, but it looks like they were totally following our threads, getting through our silly posts and to the serious posts, and it's like they actually wanted to make us happy!   I'm really touched by it, thank you, BioWare!

What does DHMG (or something like that) stand for? I'm pretty sure it's about Flaily hands guy or "That's mahogany!" Or Justin Biebers new shaved head/pompadour haircut guy but what does that stand for?

Whoah I had no idea that they could do that even! I guess I figured they could just release a small part of the game and not let the rest get through. Unless it's stuff in the coding?

When the DA2 demo came out we found out that our all possible Bethany/Carver fates, Cullen being in the game, and a little bit of the final boss....

I definitely hope and think that fan loyalty/love of Cullen at least minorly influenced their decision? But, personally, I'm REALLY hoping they are primarily giving him this role/development because the Devs themselves were interested in his character and really felt/feel he fulfills a role in the game unique to him. I just believe that their own interest and desire to see a concept/role through makes for far better characters and stories than an afterthought of "eh, let's throw Cullen in, the fans like him"... I hope at the very least that the idea of Cullen as a character who can cause diverse responses in players swayed them just as much - if not more - than those fans who adore him.

I'm hoping any in-game singing is a byproduct of the situation working for the character and personal storyline, as well as taking advantage of the fact that the VA can actually sing well... And not just "oh, the fans will get a kick out of this, sure, why not?"

...also I'll admit a wee part of me cringes at the thought that this mythical Cullen-Sings scenario I'm daydreaming about doesn't turn into something like poor Tali's date night In the citadel DLC!

It does kind of feel that way. To think, people like us who seem to have such small a voice are given one. Usually, any form of fan service would upset me. But, the whole singing thing got me. Like our stupid little jokes and banters and 'what ifs' and such got through to them (Even if this isn't true). At first glance, I would think it to be to 'shut us up' but, this....this is not 'shutting us up' it's actually caring (If that's where it stems from) on their part! Singing is one thing we weren't raving about, just nonchalantly chatting in a scenario of 'what ifs'. Who knows, GE goes through our posts, he even commented on how we'd be excited to hear about him singing, perhaps he was the one to mention it!   

I just feel so special now. In a good way. So loved! 

It may turn out that Cullen's romance is terrible, of course, and in the end he will stab you, or throw you from the cliff, or will sacrifice himself for some stupid greater good. But right now I'm really happy about EVERYTHING! Cullen is finally getting some love! And Cullenites are finally getting some love! *hugs all 3 threads*

Tell me about it.   I really wish BW didn't change the story because of the script leak but what's done is done.
