Uuuuughhhh...! I've had about 4 hours of sleep.... I put everything away and was set to get about 6 hours but I thought I'd sketch for 15 minutes, try to get a start on Cake Concealed Cullen for R2... But of course it never went that way. After losing all sense of it being a "quick sketch" I became so invested, I got mad when when I screwed up. So it wound up becoming a dynamic perspective kind of piece that kept me up until midnight. Pushed back my alarm to 5 (the absolute latest I could wake and still be on time) set my sketch book up between the mattress and the wall of my bunk and went to sleep. I was awakened a half hour early. By my book falling and smacking my nose. >:/ Blaaarrrghhh! I feel crummy. What happened to the days I could stay up all night and be fine the next day?

So.... Hi everyone! *waves* How about dat Cullen? :D

I just want to say that I love you guys. On one of the facebook Dragon Age groups I lurk in someone was talking about Qunari broodmothers. I have never NOPED out of a thread so fast in my life. I cannot think of many things more terrifying than that, thanks. :P

Also, Curious Artemis, I LOVE that story. LOVE IT. :) It made the horned broodmothers go away, you have my thanks.

Oh no  :( Does it help if I say I'm really excited to see it, and that it'll be fantastic?  <3

Aww, wow, thanks you :) Just a pairing I couldn't get out of my head until I wrote it down. I'm mostly over it

Hehe thanks. Although, given the perspective, Cullen's head barely fits! Well at least the picture isn't about his hair... ;)

I only had one playthrough, but I tried all the different dialogue options at the end of Best Served Cold, and that one where you pick the meanest options and he says with just a faint edge of disdain "I can see why Meredith thinks so highly of you" is one of my favorite line readings in the game.

LIKE!!  I always read it that way, too. He says it so coolly at that point, you can just see the ice forming on his word bubble. Very different from his  more heated defense of Meredith in Act 1.

I like to think that scene is wrought with all sorts of unsettling surprises for Cullen. Traitor templars. Two faced former templars. Rebelling mages. Blood mages. Hero of Kirkwall standing in the middle of it all, holding the bag. Poor dear.

Can I second this??  Yay, Samara, um, taking one for the team??  :D Hope you catch up on sleep, love!

Oh Maker! When I got that reply from him, I almost went back and undid my protemplar playthrough from a point before Hawke was too far gone! It was a near thing. And it was surprising to hear that from him! Like OUCH!

Edit: Oh I will R2! Just have to wait until later tonight. I swear if GE posts anything remotely resembling answers to our questions and I sleep through it, I may bawl like a little b!tch! ;)

MWHAHAHahaha! I thought being a college student was so much work too. Wait till you get out to the work force. IT'S CHAOS!
But at least you get paid for not sleeping so there is THAT.

So basically what you're saying is that you highly disregard sleep as a whole, characteristically, and plan on doing so for the rest of your life.

That is a laudable feat, but I'm sorry, dear... Kirrahe is right. It gets worse. Especially because you're pre-med, lol!

That's a really neat way of dealing with it, I might have to give a go myself.

Thanks. I won't do it on my first Inquisition playthrough, mind, just because my Elfquisitor is so fiercely anti-demon and to a lesser degree wary of mages in general. But it also means I won't allow her to pick up Cole, any possessed or dodgy mage companions, and hopefully start arguments with any companions that advocate even listening to demons or spirits.

Awww... My customary response to such a quip would be "bite me" but I'm not sure it would come across bearing the affection with which it was intended. :P

Oh, sorry.  I didn't meant to come across as insensitive. I know what it feels like to be sleep deprived. I'm just returning to work after Spring Break, so I'm feeling you. Headache, nausea, acid reflux... I miss being young, like you said, and not needing so much sleep each night!

Yes,I'd say that by act 3 Cullen begins to express his disapproval towards Meredith's extremist views, more openly...On another note,I remember doing an extremely pro-templar evil playthrough a while back, and when I reached at the point where you can have the three surrendering mages killed,Cullen looks very sad about it,like heart breaking sad and a little guilty as well,I believe,I even asked his opinion about it,but killed them anyway...I couldn't complete that playthrough, though my Hawke did some terrible things. :P

That's as far as I've ever gotten on any pro-templar game I've tried. I always default to the renegade mage. But I set out one time with determination that I'd finally go all the way, anti-mage everywhere, even up to the point that I'd finally kill Anders.

Aaaaaaand yeah, that failed. I'm right there with you.

Oh no no no! I was truly being silly. You were fine. I thought you were being silly too! So I responded in kind. I didn't think you were insensitive at all, I swear! :) I'm sorry if I seemed harsh.

Edit: acid reflux blows....

Thanks for posting this JerHopp <3

Heard about the Cullen romance option this morning and am chiming in to Squee!

Thanks for posting the video. Can't wait for the release this fall.

I also love the way they designed an open Thedas... I've played Skyrim, which is beautiful, but Bioware has ruined me for all other video games with their character relationships. Companion friendships and romances add depth and breadth to gaming that is unsurpassed, imho.

I'm doing a pro-templar run now! I can't wait for The Last Straw :P We'll see how tough I can be LOL I plan to not kill Anders (still can't do it) but tell him to scram. Then side with the templars. And I'll finally get to see the Cullen scene, yay!!!

(Yes, it really does!!! :( )

Yay!! Lately I've been wondering if I've got some kind of mental disability or something because I seem to injure and insult people left and right but have no idea what it is I said that set people off! lol

I've become desensitized to lack of sleep yes, but I don't intend to do surgery. 9-5 private practice.

Although,no matter how evil I roleplayed my chracter to be, I still couldn't do a couple of things like giving Fenris back to Danarius. This is always a No!

It makes me really happy the DA:I team were looking at Skyrim, because a DA-style game with companions and an awesome narrative that takes place in a Skyrim-esque world is like my idea of the perfect game! (You could throw in Dragon's Dogma style fighting and leveling up, too)
