I'm not just talking about the sex scene, I'm talking the entire conversation leading up to it too.

 

I was blunt with Alistair and told him what the deal was. I just... I couldn't stop laughing.

I always hit square on my PS3 controller to skip it. I've never seen their sex scene, don't ever care to.

Yeah,as much as I like Morrigan as a character but she got me rather pissed at that point so I refused her offer,but then I really wanted to play awakening and witch hunt as my canon warden, so I reloaded and accepted it in the end.

 

There's a mod that helps change the tone of that decision if you are playing a warden who romanced Alistair. The scene IMO is much better and easier to deal with because of it (no Morrigan crawling onto Alistair yuck) . I really don't think they had the female player in mind when they came up with the DR , the least they could have done was alter the scene (like the mod) to perhaps spare our feelings a bit

Oh,I second that!I know  the mod you're referring to much easier to deal with indeed.Although, I installed it some time after I finished my canon playthrough...

Yeah,as much as I like Morrigan as a character but she got me rather pissed at that point so I refused her offer,but then I really wanted to play awakening and witch hunt as my canon warden, so I reloaded and accepted it in the end.

I have a serious love, hate thing going on with Morrigan all because of the DR. I love the character and I kinda like the emotional dilemma her proposal offers to my character, but...that scene...and her telling him he'll, 'find it more enjoyable than he thinks' it's just all levels of ugh for me. Thankfully there's a beautiful mod that switches out that scene for one between Alistair and the warden before and after the ritual. I honestly couldn't play without it, it's far more sensitive towards the Warden (and the player) than the vanilla scene.

My Amell kept Alistair a warden too. I still had all of the angst leading up to the landsmeet... and then I got there and realized she had no real reason not to make Anora queen. Yay! And then she died killing the archdemon because she abhors blood magic and didn't get along with Morrigan. She was also in love with Cullen, even though she moved on. That mini-romance mod is lovely.

I want to romance Cullen with a mage this time, and I can imagine it working now. After playing that mod though, I started thinking that if Cullen had given in to a relationship with a mage in DA:O, he may not have had the strength of will to be the last Templar standing against the demons and blood mages. The romance is still part of my head canon for that character, but the thought makes me appreciate the lack of romance in unmodded game. It also makes me wary of some kind of desire demon drama in DA:I. They won't do that to us, will they? Just... no.

I hope that all makes sense... using my tablet makes it difficult to get my thoughts down right!

I too use my laptop for games. I love being able to take them with me wherever, especially in bed.

I was going to say that's when the Inquisitor throws out a paralyzing spell of some sort and asks him to hear her (or him) out, but I don't see that going over too well given Cullen's history...
