SCRIBBLES: This is ridiculous! I was not brought here--[FIREBALL]--to fight! I am a diplomat!
LELIANA: Not now, you aren't! [FIRES ARROW]
CULLEN: [HOLY SMITE] Another place I consider home is being ransacked.--[SHIELD PUMMEL]--Perhaps I should become a vagrant.
INQUISITOR: The next time Vivienne decides to go on a shopping trip and invite everyone, remind me to tell her no.
SCRIBBLES: I'll put that in my notes!
LELIANA: The trip was for your surprise birthday party. [FIRES ARROW]
INQUISITOR: It's my birthday? ...Who told you it was my birthday?
CULLEN: You mentioned it at dinner two months ago.--[POUNDS ON SHIELD]--Over here you gutless nugs!
INQUISITOR: You... remembered?
LELIANA: Battle first! Love later!
SCRIBBLES: I am not paid enough for this!
Logic would say the inquisitor is up front, so the guy in back is probably the GW...
...but I can't help but note: Doesn't the clothes of the guy up front look a wee bit familiar to Cullen's gear in the Last Supper pic?
Now I want to see Cullen face off against a demon, all strong and righteous...
@User
Someone on the BSN thinks that "Scribe Girl" is actually just Isabela. I am laughing a little harder than I should #notenoughcleavagesweetie
@davidgaider
@User What does she even seem to have in common with Isabela, I wonder? Other than maybe her skin color, I guess?

omg
yes

Eric, did you really just call that racial profiling?
AHHHH I thought it also meant profiling someone as someone else based on having similar skin tones like skin color too *facepalm* long day. I feel like cr*p now.
That phrase has a much smaller, and more different meaning umbrella than I though

fixed it! Thanks elivianx

I thought the same thing. Don't worry!

I'm out of likes! My second day here and I'm out of likes.
Is that Santana? LOL!
I need your opinions on something. I'm trying to decide whether to get Inquisition on PC or XBox 360. Here's why:
PC: I've always loved games on the PC. You can do mods and I find using a mouse and keyboard easier to control than consoles. However, my PC crashes with blue screens on the simplest flash games. I don't know if my husband and I can afford to fix it before Inquisition comes out. Also, we really don't know what the problem is.
XBox 360: We already have this. It's never crashed, but I've never gotten used to the controller. You should have seen me trying to play ME and trying to shoot geth, I died so many times. Plus you can't zoom in as much like you can with a PC. But, the game should play without crashing. Also, I have to share the television with my 2 year old.
Which platform do you think I should go with?
Depending on what the problem is it doesn't have to be very expensive to fix. If the problem is the operating system or with the memory then it's easy to fix and doesn't cost much.
Have you tried just doing a clean install of the operating system? That could fix the problem if it's just a driver/software issue.
Edit: If it seems to be overheating cleaning out the dust as the others suggested is a good idea.
I think that you'd get used to playing on the xbox and with the controller after a while, but I personally prefer the PC.
I don't think he has necessarily turned into someone who trusts mages, but instead is finally willing to give some of them the benefit of the doubt, recognizing that it's not always black and white (which seems to be the basic point of DA2).
Yeah, this! I don't think the takeaway from DA2 should be that Cullen trusts mages - I think that's reading much more into it than is actually there.
What I think we can take away from the third act of the game is:
1.) Cullen has become able to give mages the benefit of the doubt, and now requires specific evidence to accuse a mage of wrongdoing.
2.) Over time, Cullen has come to believe that slaughtering all the mages in Kinloch Hold would in fact not have been justified, in spite of his stated opinion at the time. (As evidenced by how he explains the Kinloch Hold situation to Meredith and Hawke.)
3.) Even in cases where a mage or mage-supporter appears to be significantly compromised (Alain, Samson,) Cullen can be talked into being merciful if he's given some sort of justification for why he should do so.
4.) Cullen is sufficiently concerned about the personhood of mages that he is saddened by their unnecessary deaths. (Note his reaction if Hawke has the surrendered mages killed in spite of Cullen's attempt to prevent it.)
It's not the same as "trusting mages," not by a longshot. But given where he started after he'd been tortured, he has made huge strides. The fact he no longer seems to automatically distrust mages quite so much is a major step in the right direction. He's not all the way there yet, obviously, but I think he's on a favorable trajectory. I have hopes for him.
So I got a question ... Do people think that siding with the Templars in DA2 is the "evil" way and siding with the Mages is the "good/right" way?
No, I think there are arguments either way. My Hawke sided with mages because she didn't agree that the Right of Annulment was necessary... but then started to question if she'd made the right choice when it seemed like literally every mage in Kirkwall was a blood mage or an abomination. Innocent people die either way. There is no optimal solution here, once the middle ground gets taken away.
I REALLY want to romance him with a Mage! But would I see the possible sense in such a restriction? sure... I just really don't want it!
I did see the sense until the trailer came out, but honestly I no longer do.
So... Cullen is perfectly okay with being with a person who does magic and has a direct physical connection to the Fade as long as that person's class description doesn't say "mage"? Okaaaay... ![]()
Based on what's common to all Inquisitors, class-restricting the romance actually seems pretty arbitrary. If it was possible to make a character who didn't use any magic, it would make sense, but since that's not an option it seems to me to require quite a bit of meta-gaming to base this on class choice.
Cullen shouldn't know what your character profile says; he should react based on what your character does - and what all Inquisitors do appears to be magic.
Guys!!! Seriously, guys!! Omg!
@ellisgreg: A fun #Cullenpartry t'was yesterday
@bioware & me are planning an even swankier salary v soon
I'd love to reveal more… Soon!
#Cullenites
That is super exciting!
I hope this one doesn't happen on a day when I have to work!
Even now with the entire DAI follower cast revealed, I still can't figure out who the guy up front and back are. I mean, one's gotta be the Inquisitor.
Looks like the Grey Warden, Vivienne, Inq, and Solas.
Oh, and about Mr. Ellis' tweet: if it IS meant to be salary...then he could be being paid more for...more sessions, perhaps?
I thought that one of the devs had mentioned a while back that they were looking into changing the follower formation to the player. They said it made more sense for the tanks to be in the front while the mages/healers/rogues were in the back, and they were trying to program the game to that effect. And I think they mentioned it was working, but it was annoying in part due to companions running all over the place and getting in your way.

I told my husband about all of the suggestions and we're going to try it. It does seem to be when we're playing graphic-heavy games that the computer blue screens and crashes.
Haha, I was so confused about the swankier salary thing! ![]()
I had this whole stupid thought process of "I wouldn't really describe my salary as 'swanky,' quite the opposite, but sure, why not? More money is appreciated. Ohh, typo!" ![]()

Inquisitor in front-- he has the same collar and shoulder armour as the Inquisitors in other concept art, actually. Also because front of the party shenanigans.
Then you have Vivienne, Solas, and I assume Beardy Grey Warden.
Perhaps he meant to say "soirée" and his phone auto-corrected to "salary."
I'm fairly certain that is the case! I was just puzzled at first glance. ![]()
Things like this make me glad my little clicky phone does not have the power to auto-correct! I'm too much of a control freak for that. ![]()
I tweeted Greg to see when his next recording was.
Games aren't always THAT kind to newbies though. When I first played ME3, I couldn't figure out what Kaidan's deal was on Mars. I was like, why is he so mad at me? Wow, he's kind of sexy when he's mad... etc. etc. They didn't hold your hand as far as Cerberus and what happened to Shepard is concerned. I never did quite figure out what Shepard had done in previous games though.
I started with ME2 and I was quite annoyed with Kaidan when he was angry at my Shephard when my Shep just saved everyone he included ^^; Like what is your problem XD Also I didn't see Cerberus as bad in the beginning of game, I didn't have any info about them. I just had my mission and Illusive man was my boss. I just wondered when there was so angry and wary dialogue options since I didn't know if Cerberus was bad or not. It was actually intresting to play like that, I just disliked Alliance and was in side of Cerberus most of game.

I played the whole trilogy and I was still irritated with Kaidan and Ash. I definitely understood where they were coming from, but during that argument they were putting a lot of words in Shepard's mouth that she/he didn't say. So the argument/them being pissed wasn't what irked me but instead how it seemed like it was written in... almost a childish kind of way? Not that people can't be childish and botch arguments, mind, but still.
What DID irritate me was how Kaidan/Fem!Shep and Dude!Shep/Ash was handled if you didn't wait for them and found someone else in ME2. Now that sh!t made me want to toss people out airlocks.
