Yeah, like killing Connor or Isolde.
But still, even the little decisions in DA2 could keep your relationship with a character squarely down the middle... which did not end well sometimes.
I had that problem with Anders. He and my Hawke disagreed about some of the mage stuff (Hawke didn't think all mages belonged in circles but she thought dangerous or at-risk mages did) but they agreed strongly on demons. As a result friendship/rivalry went back and forth and never hit either endpoint, which made things a little odd. Because they never got full friendship or rivalry, it seemed like Anders would have liked her more if they agreed on less - which doesn't make a ton of sense.
I hope the DAI system works a little better. I also hope that the DAI system holds onto the basic idea that you can disagree on things and still respect each other and be friends/lovers, though.
Wasn't Cullen in Kirkwall during act III? He couldn't have been so far that he didn't see/feel the explosion. He must have known what happened considering all hell broke loose right after the big boom.
Yeah. Cullen would definitely know there had been an explosion. I would be very, very surprised if he was told that Anders was acting alone, though. My guess he was told "the mages" did it or something along those lines.
OK, so this is what I really came to the thread to share. Bwahahaha! For all you lonely souls out there tonight,
this one's for you! *cue cheesy eighties skate country ballad*

"You scored a date with the Knight-Captain! Good job, miss!"
Good thing the Knight-Captain couldn't see that I was hitting on him in my sweaty gym clothes.
