That is pretty true.  XD  I guess most of my experience with Chicagoans have been ex-pats that moved to the Central Ohio area and I didn't detect a discernable difference.  But maybe they acclimated better, because, boy, there are some strong Chicago accents.

What's funny is, she hasn't lived in Chicago for around 30 years and she STILL has a very strong accent.  The best examples I can think of are Bob Dole and Walt Disney as far as famous people that you would have heard their voices (at least right off the top of my head).

 

Edit to add: Johnny Carson is another native son of the Midwest.

The second one makes me wonder if (at least at some point in development) we did die in the explosion like everyone else. Some kind of Wynne situation.

 

Ohh man I hope not. That would seriously upset my Inquisitor! She'll be upset enough without her own death piled on top of it. I'm afraid she'd be too paralyzed with self-loathing to do anything at that point, and she definitely wouldn't romance Cullen - she wouldn't want him to have to be with a corpse!

 

My first reaction to this is to roll around screaming "I'm a gwownup too!" until it's nappy time.

 

I like this one! We should keep her/him!

Someone wants to pay me $15/hour to work from home! $15 per hour? We would live like kings! Someone wants to help me enhance body parts that I don't have! But nope, no beta invite for me.   

 

I poured my heart out into the comment section, so I doubt it matters what we put What matters most is that thousands upon thousands applied! I think I have a better chance of getting into an Ivy League.

 

I'm... fairly sure that I described myself to them as, among other things, "responsible." For heaven's sake, Hannah, it's a beta test! They don't care if you're responsible! 

 

I don't remember exactly what I said, but I think I just panicked and started listing all my positive qualities.
