Yes, I kind of liked him as a templar   Except I think he stopped dating Merrill (noooooo!) 

But he was still around, and Leandra was visiting him from time to time. I only worry that it looks like he took his vows too fast, and that means lyrium, and now I hope he's not with the Reds.

Hi, y'all! I'm a long time lurker who finally worked up the nerve to post in the forums for the very first time a few days ago. Figured I should come over here and say hello, as well since I've been reading this thread off and on for, um, quite a while, if I'm honest, lol!  I'm just kind of shy, you know? Plus, this thread has such a high volume of traffic, it makes it a little difficult for me to keep up.  

 

But! Cullen fans! I found the other Cullen fans! Yay! That makes me ridiculously happy. None of my RL friends play Dragon Age, and while they've become used to my nattering about the game, it's really not the same. Well, okay.  One of those friends is also a GE fan, so she at least understood why I was making flail-y hands at the news he would be singing in the game. But still!

 

It's just nice to be able to squee with like-minded souls, you know? And there has been a lot to squee about lately.

 

Um. Yeah. Don't really know what else to say.  Did I mention the shy part? I also have kind of craptastic health (and by kind of, I mean seriously)  so I probably won't be posting a whole lot. But y'all have made me smile and laugh on days when I didn't have a lot to smile and laugh about, and I just wanted to thank you properly for it. I'd thank GE, too, if I had a Twitter account. Dragon Age has helped get me through some really rough patches, and that ... well, it means a lot to me, dorky as that may sound.

I think they flirt couple times in the game no matter what Carver becomes ^^ I don't think they will date, I'm not sure but I have impression that they only have crush for each other and flirt XD

In completely unrelated and irrelevant news, my Sims addicted daughters asked this afternoon if they could buy more Sims 'stuff'.  Seeing I was in a good mood, I replied 'Sure.'  Five minutes later they came squealing that the store is broken and won't let them buy anything.  I went to check it out to discover a message saying that there was nothing left for them to buy.  That's right my girls own the entire damn store.  How is this possible that we've come to a place where EA won't take any more of my money for their retextured items?  I don't know whether to be horrified or just deeply ashamed!

 

I wonder if there is a way to make Cullen in the Sims?  I have two 'experts' who will have to take a break from spending for a while!

I've been trying to get my best friend to play--even went so far as to buy her a copy of DAO. She swears she'll do it one of these days, but hasn't yet. I'm hoping all the cool DAI stuff that's been coming out will lately convince her to finally start a playthrough; the newest trailer really piqued her interest. 

 

TreeHuggerHannah: Yeah, that sounds like my former flatmate. I will forever be in her debt for introducing me to the world of Thedas, but we  don't really talk about the game, because we have such wildly different likes and dislikes. That's one of the really cool things about DA, the way folks can have such radically different experiences, depending on their in-game choices. 

 

OTOH, it makes me a bit nervous about romancing Cullen in DAI. I like to play characters who are, shall we say, a bit on the radical side. My first Hawke? Totally would have roasted marshmallows in the Chantry's smouldering ashes if he'd been given the option, lol!   My first Inquistor will probably be the same way. That's not gonna go over well with someone like Cullen--or Cassandra--I suspect.

In completely unrelated and irrelevant news, my Sims addicted daughters asked this afternoon if they could buy more Sims 'stuff'.  Seeing I was in a good mood, I replied 'Sure.'  Five minutes later they came squealing that the store is broken and won't let them buy anything.  I went to check it out to discover a message saying that there was nothing left for them to buy.  That's right my girls own the entire damn store.  How is this possible that we've come to a place where EA won't take any more of my money for their retextured items?  I don't know whether to be horrified or just deeply ashamed!

Lol, funny story. About 2 weeks ago, my 7 year old nephew spent $279 of my mom's money in the App Store to buy the in-game money for the Sims. Maaaan if that were me 20 years ago, she would've whooped my bootay but because her precious, sweet grandson did it, she only told him to never do it again. Lol. I said "well, you should've never told him your password for the App Store!" I decided to go in game and see how many simoleons (sp?) he had and it was over $150 million. this is why I'm a nanny and don't have kids of my own yet! I can give them back and go home to stress-free quietness

Note: I've since added proper facial hair. Also, the armor isn't quite right, though the gal who made it did her best, given the meshes we had to work with.
