Hi, y'all! I'm a long time lurker who finally worked up the nerve to post in the forums for the very first time a few days ago. Figured I should come over here and say hello, as well since I've been reading this thread off and on for, um, quite a while, if I'm honest, lol!  I'm just kind of shy, you know? Plus, this thread has such a high volume of traffic, it makes it a little difficult for me to keep up.  

 

But! Cullen fans! I found the other Cullen fans! Yay! That makes me ridiculously happy. None of my RL friends play Dragon Age, and while they've become used to my nattering about the game, it's really not the same. Well, okay.  One of those friends is also a GE fan, so she at least understood why I was making flail-y hands at the news he would be singing in the game. But still!

 

It's just nice to be able to squee with like-minded souls, you know? And there has been a lot to squee about lately.

 

Um. Yeah. Don't really know what else to say.  Did I mention the shy part? I also have kind of craptastic health (and by kind of, I mean seriously)  so I probably won't be posting a whole lot. But y'all have made me smile and laugh on days when I didn't have a lot to smile and laugh about, and I just wanted to thank you properly for it. I'd thank GE, too, if I had a Twitter account. Dragon Age has helped get me through some really rough patches, and that ... well, it means a lot to me, dorky as that may sound.

I recently got my friend to buy DAO when it was on sale.  Five minutes after she started playing, her husband  took it from her, so she has to buy another copy. lol  I can't wait to see what she thinks of it.  We met 10 years ago playing Star Wars Galaxies and have been playing mmorpg's together off and on for years.  This is the first single player game she has played that I recommended, so I'm excited to see what she says.  Next I have to get her to play Mass Effect.

Welcome from a fellow lurker! The people in this thread are some of the nicest fans on the forum! I delurk every once in a while, but I'm too shy to stay delurked.

so I got up this morning, made some coffee and settled down to catch up on Cullen chat from the other side of the globe, and pages are gone? Gone?

 

Relieved to see the post count per page has only been adjusted! And now I should be able to finish up my project! Hooray!

I don't think the whole Follower Friday thing was scrapped. They said April's was just postponed, but it might have been scrapped. Maybe they'll have two for this month, or merge them into one. Who knows? Might be nice to have some communication.

I would not hold my breath. They said they weren't going to release two, but they could have meant two at once so something could be coming today, and then again at the end of the month, but I am doubtful.

 

Perhaps someone with more guts than I could tweet someone (David Hulegaard, I think, is the guy who's in charge of it), but I don't want to seem pushy. You know?
