The toolset says that Jowan is 20. Not sure if this is entirely accurate, since it's the toolset, but it might help give an idea of his age.

Right! Yeah can't say I'm too curious about him. I was disappointed by his description as soon as I saw the survey leak. If we were going to have a tal-vashoth (sp?) as a companion, I wanted him/her to be more like Maraas.

I'm still curious about the companions, particularly ones we know almost nothing about like Sera and the Warden.

 

I'm feeling pretty oversaturated on some companions, though - I really hope they hold off on giving us much more about Varric, Cassandra, or Vivienne, because even though I like all three of those characters, I want us to discover stuff about them in the game, too, not all beforehand!

well im kinda wondering if it has anything to do with what Greg and Jessica were "cooking" up for the fans... since he said that they  were planning on doing something different ... maybe it might be Cullen?  Idk but either way its good to have  new news  no matter what it is ... Im personally not a  BIG fan of Solas either but  I kind of want to know more about him and other followers 

^ALL OF THIS^  We know we've got some Cullen goodies coming our way.  That's going to happen.  One day, it's just gonna be BAM! Right there!  Squee!  I mean, character wise, Cullen's our priority for the most part, so that's what we're going to concentrate on.

 

Still, I really am looking forward to finding out more about the other characters, especially the ones that are essentially blank slates right now.  There's bound to be some surprises in the details, some things that we just would never expect, right?  It should really add some oomph to the anticipation factor, I think.

I think it often comes down to the VAs, too. My interest in Cassandra went up a little when I heard her voice in the latest trailer. Her VA did an awesome job showing the character juggling a variety of emotions in that single scene. I bet once I meet everyone in game and get to hear them and know them, things will be different for me. I even really enjoyed that little one liner from Varric, who isn't exactly my favorite character.

To me there is always couple companions that I have almost no intrest for and they keep staying in the camp all the time. In DAO there was many, Sten, Oghren, Wynne.. just not intresting to me at all. DA2 there wasn't so clear division but I always end up taking Fenris and Anders with me cause gameplay reasons (I don't think S&S warriors do anything in DA2, Fenris is only effective warrior or I can't just make others work and Anders is only mage with heal who is around all the time). So I always have to listen arguing XD So Aveline and Carver.. always out of action though not because they aren't intresting.

 

At the moment my intrest level from companions is high only for DHMG. I'm dying to know more about Tevinter and he seems to be against current system so just like a guy I want to talk to I have pretty high intrest for Cass too, she's badass an I love her accent. Mild intrest for Sera, Iron Bull, Varric and Solas. I don't think I'll like Vivi and Warden so no intrest for them ^^; Wardens are just boring and I doubt I have anything intresting to talk about with Vivi.. maybe I will be suprised happily in game so of cource she has to come along. Idk if I will like her though. I'm not into sassy characters.

Exactly.  It's really hard to get pumped about an illustration or image all on its lonesome without other motivating factors.  I mean, you can only imagine so much, right? Once we see them moving, talking, establishing personalities, then it will considerably more exciting I think.
