BTW, what do we know about the human mage inquisitor? I understand they won't be Trevelyans? I wonder if they are from some Circle or apostates? Maybe a Circle mage, because the elven mage will be an apostate?
Not sure if anyone answered this, but to my knowledge all humans are Trevelyan's, all Dalish are Lavellan, all dwarves are Cadash, and all qunari are Adaar, regardless of class.
Mages may have a different background/origin, but probably not playable.

I dunno. TBH, I think he looks as much like his DA2 counterpart as Varric and Cassandra do. I think the latter have just grown on us, as will this iteration of Cullen. I was shocked by how different Cass and Varric looked from DA2. So I've been expecting this with Cullen. :shrug: Different, but still awesome.
Cassandra definitely looks different, but Varric looks pretty much the same, as does Morrigan. Cullen definitely looks very, very different; his chin is almost nonexistent and his hair is noticeably longer, like an inch longer, and it's lighter (but hair color doesn't bother me).
Mind, none of it bothers me; so long as they didn't make him hideously ugly I don't really care what he looks like.

And older. He looks much younger than me (although he kind of must be older), and I feel like pouncing on him must be illegal.

I don't think I saw someone answer this... There was one of the devs that apparently was a middle of the road, fence sitter, non-side-chooser, and some of the other devs teased him about this on twitter, calling him 'Cullen.' Way before they started revealing DA:I details.

It looks like fur to me, too, but who knows til we get a better look. FWIW, the expanded then sharpened images also sharpen up the edges of the fur, making it look more feather like. But look at the high res, untampered version on the official site to get a better look.

Hmm about the chin,I think we really need a clearer picture under different lighting to say for sure.I suspect that it's the the contrast in the picture,that give the of illusion of a nonexistent chin.
I really liked Cassandra's model,her accentuated aggressive angles,the scars and the battle hardened look.

I would love to see something like this. Like seeing him blush a bit at all the naked Andrastes all over Val Royeaux. LOL
I wanted to romance him in both the first and second game even before my mind connected the "Wait! that's the same dude dot lol."
I remember in the second game you see him for the first time and it's like "wow that guys hot! Hope he's a romance!" And he wasn't
So what I'm trying to say is I would ship Cullen with whatever character in whatever game I got to have him!
Also awesome story Hannah! Even though you were tricky and totally made us think it was the inquisitor who was getting some hot library action!
I played the games out of order, so that definitely affected my view of Cullen.
My Hawke was relentlessly pursuing romancing Fenris so I didn't want to romance Cullen in the initial playthrough, but Cullen immediately caught my attention as this sincere, caring, worried guy who had a ton of crazy stuff on his plate. As the game progressed, I started to see his point of view more, and by the end of the game I was really impressed with his bravery and moral courage in finally trying to do what was right.
Then I played the first game and found out where he had originated, and... wow. That man has come a long way!
I think that's why I'm so optimistic about Cullen's future, actually. He's far from perfect and far from healed, but I still see a lot of progress and a lot of capacity for improvement with the right support. I don't think that in the past two games he was in an emotional place where he was ready for a romance, so I think it's cool that he finally is.
I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and that I fooled somebody about who he was in the library with!

Oh yeah, I do remember that! It stuck in my mind because it was like, "Hey, that's exactly how I see Cullen now, too!" 
Maybe he's wearing orleasian clothes and has feathers because of that? I just think the "fur" is too long to be fur, looks more like feathers to me XD

He looks younger to me, and I cant tell if he has any facial hair!....oh well still looks good and I am liken the hair so far! and the outfit is epic!
