I'm going to watch star-trek today. I'll take pictures lol.
Because on Tuesday, we must wear pink.
Same here! I haven't finished the book yet, but the more I read it the more I dislike them. I was a big Dalish fan now I'm leaning more towards the City Elves. The only Dalish I'm happy with right now is Felassan. Him and Sir Michel are my two favorites.
yeah, I also haven't gotten very far yet (~1/3 done), but I had totally forgotten how the city elves revered the Dalish like some kind of living legend. Guess it's been a while since I played DA:O. LOL
I thought the quote was Wednesdays. Which is why everyone was so happy the 10th anniversary was on a Wednesday.
I must be mixing it up with the Buffyverse. ![]()
I'm pretty sure it's fur. A wolf or something. You can even kind of see the animal's head on his right shoulder:
Of course, it's difficult to say with such quality, but looks like fur. Skyrim fur
Very late to this one, but just wanted to say that this is the clearest picture i've seen of him zoomed in up close and actually his new model isn't so bad zoomed in! Maybe I'm just getting used to it, but I can actually see the likeness to his DA2 model now, but they definitely need to add in the goatee, or at least make it more prominent if it is there to make him look even more like the Cullen, lol. I'd also still make his hair a few shades darker too. That aside, I think his new look is growing on me!
Anyway, looking at his fluffy pauldrons or whatever it's supposed to be. On the left one looks more like fur, but the right one looks more like feathers, LOL! Maybe they haven't finished tweaking the textures on his outfit yet? I would imagine that it's supposed to be fur since he's Fereldan 'n' everything... I really hope the head isn't still on whatever it is, that would be mighty off putting during romantic scenes! ![]()
Y'all are gonna make me read this book just so I can prove I still love the Dalish afterward ![]()

Felassan is my favourite, he's so laid back!

Lol, keep on reading, dear Lola. It gets even better.

Yeah, I think the lack of apparent facial hair stuffs is what may be making Cullen's upper lip seem thinner than it is. This is the best close up I've seen, and it does make him look better.
Still, I hope they continue to tweak.
Y'know, the more I read TME, the more I realise that the Dalish are as pompous as the Orlesians... or at least, that particular clan was! I think I want to help the city Elves instead, they've got more promise.
I think that clan was. Our clan was fine. Or maybe it was just Keeper Marethari, she was the best! (dammit, Merrill!) They weren't very welcoming too, but at least they took Pol in, and then Feynriel.
I'm waiting til after my first PT to read TME. I don't want to be influenced by stuff I learned abt in the book. Like I don't want to know that a certain character is actually pretty shady and not to be trusted, or anything like that until I'm in game.
note: sooooo, that DAI art book does not have any preview shots...heh heh...awww.

Yeah, the overt racism really p*ssed me off.

Ummm, I would suggest you read it, cause I already know that some things in the game will make SO MUCH MORE SENSE if you have read it.

In that trailer group shot, I like how they kinda break the fourth wall at the end. Viv and Cass and I think Blinky!Cullen--though for not as long--look directly into the camera at you.
I think it's good they're making this conflict a bit more grey. Otherwise it's just a case of racism is bad.
I think they did end up making it very grey, based on the many different responses I have seen to how the ending shook out.

Regarding the Dalish in the book or the civil war in general?

Have you tried speaking with the Dalish NPCs in the camp, not just Marethari/Ilen? Half of them are cringe-worthy so much, that I had to keep from facepalming.

Civil war in general, especially between the 3 main factions, just based on the many different responses I have seen here on the forums.

Still haven't read that either...Regardless,I don't think one bigoted clan is enough to make me dislike the Dalish as a whole.

Ah! Yeah its pretty grey. Before I read the book I had the feeling I was gonna support Celene no matter what. But after having read it, I'm not sure.
