Ah! Yeah its pretty grey. Before I read the book I had the feeling I was gonna support Celene no matter what. But after having read it, I'm not sure.

You can still love/like the dalish after TME. Just not the clan in the book.

Pretty much this, the clans appear to have different mindsets and follow different philosophies.
Others are hostile and no better than bandits, while others appear to be more reclusive and evasive. There are also some clans like the one in Rivain, which appears to be more peaceful and have friendlier relations with the human settlements. So far in the game and the books we've met hostile and mediocre clans, hopefully we'll get to meet a friendlier clan as well, perhaps our pc's clan.
Civil war in general, especially between the 3 main factions, just based on the many different responses I have seen here on the forums.
Although you are given an interesting insight to the elves of Arlathan. I won't say anything more so as not to spoil anyone.
And speaking of spoilers, I'll be looking for any scrap I can get! For me, what I read about something can be quite different when you actually see it in a game/tv show/ movie. I was late coming into both of the previous games, so I hadn't actually seen any spoilers, but all of this won't ruin it for me.
As for my first Inquisitor, all I know now is that I'll most likely be playing a female human mage. I really need a bit more information on the background to really flesh out my character.
Clearly I need to read this book. ![]()

To be fair they do have reason to, at least, be wary of humans. Still, I would love to see more Dalish that don't make me feel 'I know you had it HORRIBLE, and that's not something to forget, but man don't expect ME to be polite if you ain't.'
Also all this 'city elves are not true elves' bull makes me want to just line face at them so hard. Ellipses you can HEAR. BOLDED ellipses.

I hope he turns out to be gay only just to ****** all you girls off lol.
Like after what happened in Feraldin turned him gay because he was into a female mage and it traumatized him!
Wouldn't bother us, we'd just amp up the meat and ram it home! I'm sure you're fully experienced in such things yourself. ![]()

Reported and ignored. Bye bye

Why you think were are all girls or are going to have fem!Inquisitors?
I'd be really suprised if he was gay in DAI but it wouldn't bother me, I'd just romance him with my male!Inquisitors. Problem solved.
To kind of bring this back on topic, how do you think Cullen would react to Gaspard and Celene?

Am wondering how you can turn any one gay? ![]()
Then my Inquisitor shall take it like a man!

I'm not sure he would have one, to be honest. He didn't have anything to say about the civil war in Ferelden, although he was a minor character in that game. And he certainly didn't have anything to say about the leadership crisis in DA2, but we all know that he was rather oblivious in that game. ![]()
You know, speaking of the romances... I hope it's a little more ambiguous when it comes to who might be the dominant partner so to speak. I mean what if my Inquisitor isn't the dominant kind of guy in bed? What if he IS? What if my female Inquisitor is dominant? What if she ISN'T? How the love scenes work is very concerning for me, especially when it comes to which character I'll pair with who.

Let's perhaps drop that somewhat dangerous line of thinking, and return to the task at hand.
Agreed... don't feed the troll... please.
Oh bother... I never know when I get ToP! ![]()

True, but if he is more of a military leader, I'd think he would at least be versed in who the major military powers are in Orlais.

I think he'll be likely pro-Celene.
