Ah, if you guys could.. can you put spoilers for ME3 spoilers? I have tried to not get spoiled much.. it has pretty much failed and I have spoiled myself with various things already but I hope to keep at least something unspoiled XD

I think Gaspard is awesome, but I don't necessarily agree with his reasons behind usurping Celene. He appears honorable in his fight, yes, but he wants to keep to tradition instead of moving Orlais forward. From what I understand, he is not a big fan of The Game - he does prefer to be forthright, as being a Chevalier commands him to be so. Celene is attempting to bring forth a new age for Orlais, but it is slow because she is a master of The Game. I myself prefer action over manipulation, but when it comes to such matters as elven freedom manipulation and persuasion is a must. Simply acting on it would cause a civil war, and Celene's way may have prevented it. The changes were slow, however. Gaspard saw her doing all this, and acted in the only way he believes is right. "A good war unites the empire" is a fairly...dictator-like way of thinking. I do not think he would be a good ruler because of this. He would no doubt attempt to reclaim Ferelden and ensure the elves had no freedom what-so-ever. 

 

At least that's what I think for now. It changes by the week.

It's worth it Garrus is by far my favourite LI in the mass effect universe. Nothing better than a funny but also heart-warming story about two best friends realizing they love each other    Alistair remains my DA favourite since no one in DA2 was able to knock him off his pedestal for me. I hope DAI has my new favourite or....favourites???? That would be a first, usually I just have the one LI I really, really like.

Weeelll, Okay! I'm gonna go for it! Besdies I love ME2 anyway, so no hardship there. And it would be nice to have that back to back romance cuz I'm imagining you get a better feel for how it grows that way.....

Now, about the Inquisitor. I was thinking, how did our Inq ended up at the Sacred Ashes temple? Did he/she come with the Chantry? Or with the mages? And what was the dalish/qunari/dwarf doing there? Just was passing by? Why? Where? Looks like I'm in Cassandra mode today

So far the DA team seems to be doing a pretty good job of keeping us from prying the game open w/a crowbar, and rummaging around in it before Xmas.

Looks like when Mr. Laidlaw was informed, he called someone and had the release date changed. There very well may be spoilers then.

 

I'm going to wait for the Ultimate Edition of DAI though...perhaps the art book will be included...

Trust me you won't regret it, it's the romance that just keeps getting better and better. After the LIs you mentioned I felt I had to say that, you won't have to worry about death or dumping 0_o. It's a shame ME3 wasn't great to femshep when it came to romance but I'm glad I won't have to worry about that in DAI.

I usually play with two tanky members (not S&S warrior, more like 2H warrior, arcane warrior or blood mage), mage and rogue. That's my standard team. I'm still not complete sure who I will bring with me and usually I keep changing my companions a lot during game too (though most of time I pick my favorites and LI). DHMG is my first choice for mage at the moment and Cass for warrior (I probaply make her 2H if I can). About rogue.. I kinda like all of their concepts so far so I can't pick at the moment XD Since I have mage qunari for first I think I'll pick Iron Bull as another warrior and replace DHMG with him. But he has to be my mage when I'm not playing with mage ^^

 

Though.. still sad that Cullen is not companion. I'd keep him around 24/7.

Well my first Inquisitor is heavily based on Anya from Buffy. So in keeping with the Girl Power, I'll have Cassandra, Sera and Vivienne as my main party. Also, I'm not worried my Inquisitor will be forced to kill them, so they're also the safe choice. Yay!

Oh yeah. Someone tweeted Patrick about it a few weeks ago. It actually made cry when I read that dedication as I opened the novel that first time.

At this moment I only really want Varric, IB, GW, Cass , Viv and Sera in my party. This might change but I think these guys will be the ones I'll probably be picking the most. I think I'll find it difficult to switch out Varric and IB because it sounds like they'll be a riot.

That is too bad. I mean... I'm not that far in yet, but I sorta figured that happened. Reminds me of Mary Kirby's post once upon a time about the necessary ingredients for a romance story (also known as: the reason we couldn't romance Varric in DA2).
