I just think it's a shame some didn't appreciate it due to

Unfortunately, I see why some were a little ticked, considering how all s/s female relationships have ended tragically in the series.

. I'm looking forward to see the finished work. Btw, do you know any good 3ds Max tutorials? I have little experience with it but would like to learn more about the software.

Didn't Patrick say that we'd learn more in DAI? Perhaps we'll have the option to get them back together or maybe we'll witness/overhear them having a heart to heart/steamy moment at some point?

Considering *stuff* I don't think that will be too likely. But you never know...

I think I know the stuff you're talking about, although I haven't hit that part yet.

Highly doubt it. You'll understand once you finish.
Just put the direct link to the image between two img tags: [ img ] http://blahblah.jpg [/ img ] {{but without the spaces}}
Or I suppose the picture button on the editor will do the same; you just enter the URL.
Um, obligatory example...

Thanks
I`ll give it a try

It work!! Thanks ![]()
Dragon Age @dragonage
Penny for your thoughts? Tell us what you think this poor fella is thinking. #DAI
Wow, you guys moved about six pages while I was gone...
Yeah, the overt racism really p*ssed me off.
My elves are always wildly racist. My Dalish warden straight up murdered those three shem in the opening scene ![]()

O___O
Still haven't read that either...Regardless,I don't think one bigoted clan is enough to make me dislike the Dalish as a whole.
It kinda makes me love them more... pointy-eared master race and all ![]()
You know, speaking of the romances... I hope it's a little more ambiguous when it comes to who might be the dominant partner so to speak. I mean what if my Inquisitor isn't the dominant kind of guy in bed? What if he IS? What if my female Inquisitor is dominant? What if she ISN'T? How the love scenes work is very concerning for me, especially when it comes to which character I'll pair with who.

Same
DA2 did a nice job of this; you can't really tell who took the lead in bed that first time. In DA:O though they always made it clear who was, ahem, on top, so to speak. I found it hilarious that when I romanced Zev with a human the human was on top, but when I played an elf, the elf was on bottom. BioWare artists are yaoi fans apparently, taller guy on top! ![]()
In this case, you'll like the dalish in the bookIt kinda makes me love them more... pointy-eared master race and all
Agreed. As long as they keep it in taste, I will be fine however they handle it. Not gonna lie though, the m/m Kaidan ME3 scene was absolutely perfect.
Agree; it was really tasteful and yet left much to the imagination (just the right amount).

Ty, I have some tutorials on my YT channel on how to make a female character from scratch, and the method I use can also be applyed to a male model as well... my videos are quite long tho but that's because im trying to explain every tool I use in the process in order to acheave what im trying to go for.
I will be making more basic tutorials in the future for 3ds MAX try to explain like how to navigate the view port and how to use basic tools and such... so if you are interested here is the link to my channel

I get antsy if my characters are put out of character "Noooo, that character wouldn't top!" "Nooooo, that character would be a total dom like you wouldn't believe-- we're talking leather and riding crops here."
I kind of get that way about fanfiction... like I can't stand to read fanfic where Fenris is on top. Well, let me rephrase that. Where Fenris is ALWAYS on top, and he's like this super aggressive dominant slightly sadistic top. (Cause fanfic writers tend to favor extremes....) I guess because at that point you realize the writer just "reads" the character totally different than you do. Same with video game love scenes, perhaps? That first encounter is kind of significant. If it plays out not the way you'd imagined it, whether the lovers are m/f, f/f, or m/m, then it kinda sours the experience.
So long as they avoid snarky Hawke style jokes about how the size of his johnson is a lot to take in.
*dies* And the other option was just as bad. "Is it because I'm a man?" Ughhhhhhhh.
True enough... of course, both the male and female scene with Kaidan was perfect!
(Yes, I played both ways... what can I say... I'm a completionist!
)
Some people have to beat every level and do every fetch quest... others have to sleep with every character in every conceivable combination...

...or we ignore them... all the quoting of the latest has let his trolling live on in infamy, even tho the mods have already deleted the post. #justsayin
Ironically, I already had the troll in question on ignore, so I didn't see his/her post until someone quoted it lol
In this case, you'll like the dalish in the book
.
Probably!
I like to play an elf who is very racist at the start; that's how I wrote my quizzy in my fics. He feels uncomfortable around humans and projects that discomfort through racist thoughts. I think he also calls the elven servants flat-ears
But anyway, I like my elves to start out racist then gradually have their eyes opened, make friends with humans, possibly fall in love with a human, etc. But never turn his/her back on his/her people.
I'm kinda sad there is no city elf option. I like Dalish elves too but somehow I it's easier to play to do city elf character and play with her/him. I guess I have hard time to come up with dalish characters who have different personalities. All my dalish elves have been adventurers, proud of their heritage and suspious of other races.
I had already city elf planned who would romance Cullen if he's bi or DHMG if he's bi/gay. I can't imagine him as dalish so I have to think of another character ^^; Maybe I could make a male qunari with his personality depending what kind of origin there is for qunaris.
Am I the only one dissapointed by the lack of ramen?
So do you guys know or have an idea of who you'll be taking with you in your party the most?
I think for warrior I'll switch between Cassandra and Iron Bull. Unless Cullen is a party member (which I kind of doubt) then always Cullen
Rogue I'll probably switch between Cole (assuming he's a party member) and Varric
Mage Solas and DHMG (assuming he's a party member)
That's one of those things I probably won't figure out until I actually play the game. If my past experience with DAO and DA2 are any indication, the party members will change depending on the style of character I'm playing. Like, my City Elf Warden would have gone with an entirely non-human party had there been a non-human mage companion. Since there wasn't, he usually wound up with Sten or Shale in the warrior slot, Zevran, and Morrigan. And my female mage Hawke usually went with mostly women companions. Would have preferred all female, but there wasn't a female archer companion (I like to go with a tank, archer, assassin, and mage setup) so I may do another playthrough with a female rogue Hawke, and spec her out as an archer. OTOH, that would mean not taking Varric along on most adventures, and I adore Varric.
That's one of the things bugging me about DAI. I'm an archer IRL, and I love playing archers in the game. But Varric kind of makes playing an archer moot, which is why I spec'd my rogue Hawke as an assassin in DA2. I am mad in love with the recently released female Inquisitor artwork with the dashing hat and the bow, and would really like to play a character who looked like that. But then I wouldn't need to take Varric along, and I love Varric! Decisions, decisions.....
Am I the only one dissapointed by the lack of ramen?
Yea a little but all hope is not lost ^^ Cullen might still look very different in actual game.
