Yeah, romance is definitely not the most important part! The game is going to be amazing, and this is just one small aspect.
It's just, this is super dumb but I've gotten attached to my Inquisitor, and she's such a sweet, caring person that it kind of makes me sad to think of the possibility of nobody thinking she's good enough to love.
...Yeah it sounds even dumber written out than it did in my head.
It's not dumb. That's exactly how I feel. And it hits me in spurts... sometimes I actually get angry reading other people's posts about how they're gonna romance Cullen, blah blah blah. (It's just a visceral reaction; by all means, I encourage squee-ing lol) I just have to take a deep breath and recite my mantra of being excited about the game, regardless of who my character can romance. And I want him to be happy, too. It's just hard to imagine him happy with someone else at this point.
So let's say the gay LI does turn out "fabulous", I think that may reflect his personality more then it would the LBGT community as a whole. If that makes sense?
I think... you are the most positive person I've ever met!
NEVER CHANGE
EDIT: And I agree that Cortez was a "masculine" guy (a space mechanic, basically, and a space race car driver LOL). I'm not overly fond of the terms "masculine" and "feminine" in the first place, but I know what you mean. I don't see the DA team bending to stereotype... then again, I have no idea how you arbitrarily decide which of nine companions is gay, straight, or bi. Did they flip a coin for each one??
