Hey so I was wondering oh ever so resourceful Cullen thread. Ya'll have mentioned a leak that talks about how Cullen (or maybe the military adviser?) advises the inquisitor towards Gaspard- does anyone have a link?

I think these are reasons to be skeptical of said leak (which was written by a fan, not a dev, mind you), particularly since we don't know the timing of the game with respect to TME nor if said fan might've just gotten small details wrong or what. Also... a delightful use of spoiler tags!

Yeah, I want it in English, but looks like EA cut it out, because our version is cheaper, and maybe they are afraid people from other countries will buy our codes to save money. It's annoying. Even if I will buy DAI now on Amazon, I probably won't be able to get the DLCs for it later. So right now the only option I see is to wait ten million years for an Ultimate Edition or something. EA just ruins my fun with their country restrictions.

I'd also like to see them move away from the "amoral and oversexed bisexual" trope. One bisexual character who isn't promiscuous, that's not too much to ask, is it? I mean, I look at how the media portrays bisexuals and think, "If we're all supposed to be insatiable sex fiends, why am I happily ensconced at home on a Friday night watching Hannibal with my cats?"
Honestly? It would mean the world to me if they made a morally upright character like Cullen bi, for much the same reason that Kirrahe1 wants to see a more masculine gay LI. Give me a bisexual character who is sweet and devoted. Someone who is monogamous, and wants a serious relationship. It would be so damned refreshing.

I'd think it's like skill which you can switch on and off and I see it more benefit than bad so far. However it's likely that there is some side effect for using it that aren't so nice. Maybe it uses up quizzys life force? Maybe it burns the hand? Hmm, we don't know much about that power yet so there can be just theories.
Potential benefit: AWESOME to have at a rave.

This is not only what I'm putting my money on, but really hoping for.
So there are gays out there who act very effeminate and over the top and there are also lesbians who are very masculine. So let's say the gay LI does turn out "fabulous", I think that may reflect his personality more then it would the LBGT community as a whole. If that makes sense?
I'd love a very non-stereotypical gay dude character, especially as an LI, and especially one that is heroic. It is something rarely seen in portrayal within our media. I often say that my dream for the gaming industry is to get to the point where we can have a non-stereotypical out gay action hero protagonist starring in his own game (with a boyfriend or husband love interest). Someday soon, I'll keep hoping. In the meantime, the next closest thing is in games like this where our non-heterosexual representation comes in the form of companions and secondary cast. Cortez was lovely in this regard, but I do hope for something meatier in content and a full-fledged combat companion.

He's not the main protagonist and it's not a game, but the Pied Piper from the Flash comics is my absolute favourite comic character. And his boyfriend is the criminal investigation director, so it's not like he's a background character you never see, either. 
And then there's Teddy and Billy from the Young Avengers!
(That's not to say comics don't botch things up, mind-- they botch things up all the damn time, sadly, thanks to the constant change in writers. Still, they super-heroes? So there's that.)

If it's a written based interview I'd say go with R2. If you want a video based one, I don't mind doing it since I'm used to being on camera now anyway.
I never really understood the thing with Cullen - I do think the moments with female mage Warden in Origins are sweet, that he's a good guy generally and that his character arc so far has been pretty interesting, for a minor character - but I must say, his voice actor is lovely, funny and adorable. The way he interacts with the Cullenites is certainly endearing the character to me.

I... would say R2, I guess? No offence to anyone else! She's just thread mum, and brings us back down to earth when we need it. And I think asking a grounded Cullenite would be the best way to go?
