Oooh, I wonder what makes it spoilerific??

Probably whatever is on fire in the picture is what constitutes the spoilers.

What is this interview for, if I may ask? Just wondering.
Btw, Gaider's been updating his blog. I thought this short little tease was particularly interesting.http://dgaider.tumbl...-is-only-2-3rds

Interesting. I find the background similar to the concept shown together with this one on twitter, as well as the concepts about Skyhold. Could it mean that we might be able to destroy Skyhold/the Inquisition?

Maybe something we killed? She does have this evil, triumphant look about her.

Well...Cameron Lee did say the big bad was eventually gonna come visit and kick our ass in our home, so maybe this is the end result?

Hmmm, maybe she killed something big that had set fire to the surrounding landscape?

Looks like the Redcliffe chantry to me. And we're going there correct? To Redcliffe I mean.

I agree it could be a Chantry, but Redcliffe wouldn't experience snow like that. This place looks high up in the mountains.

Could be Haven, shudder.

Maybe. I am of the mind that Haven was probably decimated when the mountain went boom and the Veil tore.

Yes, which is exactly why us old-timers tend to get uncomfortable when the thread gets particularly estrogen-y and hot templar bod-y

I'm not even an old-timer and I do. :D Yes.

Or maybe I just prefer to keep the cries of "OH, MAKER" and desperate face-fanning to m'self. Because I'm a mature lady, y'see.

Despite being a new-timer,I find myself getting equally uncomfortable when it gets like this as well...

Thank god it isn't just me. I thought it was just me being a massive prude. Yeah, I'm fine when it's just the odd comment, but when it's a whole discussion about the size of his embargo, I just don't want to be here.

I just wanted to thank everyone for chiming in on this. I'm starting to feel schoolmarm-ish when I comment on it, so it's good to confirm that it's a more widely held concern within the thread.

And, eluvianix, no apologies necessary. It's a whole thread groupthink thing that happens from time to time. It's just good for us to be aware so we can reign it in and get back to discussing what makes Cullen interesting. :D

Possibly, but the concept seems to me to show something the Inquisitor did.
Plus, it was opposed to one where the Inquisitor goes to Skyhold at full power, with soldiers and everything. It might reflect the different fate of Skyhold/Inquisition.

Yeah must be whatever she's looking down at ... hmm... is she on a rock, or part of a broken building?

It looks like she is on a rock, but what is front of her are burning pieces of wood.

From the position of what's in the background, could it be the rubble of a bridge or something similar?

Again, apologies for the Isabela like lust induced frenzy on Friday. Kinda let my imagination get away from me.

I don't think you need to apologize. :D I don't see a problem with our occasional running gags that we do. It's only when the joke is played again and again and again that I think it's a problem. It's one thing to wax poetic a bit about how Cullen said or did something a person found attractive, or to appreciate a fan's artwork; it's quite another when every mention and every thing gets turned into a dirty joke.

Theoretical example of awful:

Pondering User: I wonder if we'll have mabari this time?

Naughty User: I don't care! We get Cullen! He can be my mabari!

Second Naughty User: LOL! Right? I'd be his b!tch any day!

Yeah.... when it gets like this ^  I nope out of the thread.

So I think you're probably good. :D

Maybe she had to burn down something... like a Red Templar base of operation or something?

Who are you calling old?!? ;)  *pounds cane and yells get off my lawn* (And I'm not altogether comfortable with it either.)

I, too, would suggest Lola and R2. They seem to be the most well-versed on what's going on, although a cooperative effort amongst everyone would not be amiss.

Could be! Or maybe she burnt down her main base of operation after the big bad directly attacks us or something? Or maybe a Dragon did it and she just took it down?

I really hope that not everyone main base is located in the same areas. Because the background seems the same of Skyhold.
The fact that the concept was the symbol or 'chaos, rebirth, re form' might impty that it's related to destroy some 'good' groups/organization.
Though the RT might fit since it could mean a 'rebirth' of the Templar Order.

http://dgaider.tumbl...-is-only-2-3rds

Sorry, I suppose I should have given more info initially. It's actually for my blog. I do a lot of character studies to help myself and other writers to really understand what people are looking for in specific archetypes. For example, last month was breaking down the Prince Charming (my post on Alistair was the most popular post I've ever had) and this month is the damsel in distress. Anyway, I'm starting up a feature on fandom-specific news and whatnot. I thought the perfect subject of my flagship post would be the madness surrounding Cullen.

And I really hope that's absolutely okay with everyone.

After all this time (and countless defunct Cullen flame threads that received their answers) people still think it's just about yay!Templars and yay!HotBodies? We haven't seen Cullen's body! lol! :D If it was just the templar thing or a body thing, Keran would have a thriving thread. ;) It's disappointing that people just roll with that conclusion (not to mention lazy) when a little critical thinking would put some holes in that assumption. A hot body - templar or not - isn't enough to hold the interest of so many for so long.

Welcome Solas. :D I hope you like it here. ;) You have a pretty good grasp of what it is that makes Cullen intriguing. And, yes. Greg is awesome. :D

YES. YES THEY DO. It's heartbreaking.

Again, apologies for the Isabela like lust induced frenzy on Friday. Kinda let my imagination get away from me.

Don't worry about it. In other places, and in front of less discerning eyes, I go hopelessly goo-goo over Alistair and I suspect I'll eventually do the same for Cullen. Quietly. In my corner.

I just wanted to thank everyone for chiming in on this. I'm starting to feel schoolmarm-ish when I comment on it, so it's good to confirm that it's a more widely held concern within the thread.
