Well, the total mass of red lyrium did increase when it added Meredith to itself. (And the sword looked bigger than the idol to me, but my memory is hazy.)

Ya, the sword was definitely  bigger. Wonder if it assimilated whatever metal they ... how would you say... smelted it with? Thus it became a bigger chunk. It reminds me of The Blob. Anyone remember that old movie? It was small to begin with but ended up engulfing everyone and got bigger.

This picture pops up in DA2 when you find a resource I think. I might be wrong with the resource, might be codex entry or some of the armor sets get every chapter. I know I had it pop up when I did Merril's recruitment quest, but not sure if it popped up when I picked up the herb or those armor set gloves.

With a quick read-through and my beginner's Russian, it doesn't seem like there's much new* in here, and definitely no Cullen-related news, anyhow. Maybe Galagraphia can tell us if there's anything particularly exciting I missed?

Maybe the lyrium was mixed with another metal to increase its mass and strength? I always found it odd that a solid lyrium object could take the abuse her sword did, anyhow.
