I have a little niggling concern at present, that this game will be a bit too much like Skyrim... with Skyrim, I spent around 100 hours exploring and never even continued the main quest LOL I am actually on like step 2 of the main quest at present, but by now, I sort of don't care about the quest anymore. I've visited every city, every cave, I'm married, I own about five houses, I'm head of the thieves' guild... main quest, what's that???

That's the same problem I had with Skyrim, LOL!
Okay - so we wanted to get y'alls opinion on two questions:
What do the Cullenites look forward to the most with Cullen's role in DA:I?
And their biggest concern?
1) Well, I'm waiting for a grown-up man who can do something important on his own, and doesn't need my character to hold his hand (5 years ago boy-men were fine, now I feel like I'm too old for this). Cullen was heading that way in previous games, because he's always had his own opinion about everything. I don't always agree with his opinion, no matter how much I love this character. So I'm looking forward to have interesting discussions with him about how the world should change. I'm also expecting him to be a leader I can respect, who would provide me with useful advice regarding warfare, strategy, and all that stuff I hated in Heroes of Might and Magic when I was a kid. I could use some help with that
(and I mean all 3 advisors here, not just Cullen). Romance should be interesting too. He never opened up before.
2) Difficult to say, but after Anders I have the same fear about every character BioWare brings back - what if they do something I will absolutely hate? Can't imagine how Cullen could disappoint me though. Singing out of tune?
I think he's quite predictable, actually, like most decent and honest people. And I'm ok with that.

Yes, now I simply MUST do it ![]()
I bet I can.

1)I'd say it's how he evolved as a character since the Kirkwall incident so far and will continue to evolve further in the game. He's one of the few characters who've seen the worst of both sides in the mage-templar war. I'm also curious about his stance towards the inquisitor,a person who rises into power during this whole chaos.Cullen witnessed first hand that someone with too much power can be easily corrupted, mage or not. Also I really want to know more about his background before serving in the Fereldan circle and his personality(and yes that includes his surname!).So to conclude, what I'm looking forward to the most with Cullen's role in DA:I is his potential character development and the opportunity to know more about him as a character.
2)That he's character arc will be disappointing, wasting in this way his potential as a character(although,I trust the writers on this) and that he'll inevitably die in the end of the game.(that's the effect of reading too much asoiaf).

Yeah, personally I found the guild quest lines far more interesting and engaging than the main quest line.If it wasn't for the occasional dragon attack,I doubt my character would remember that the world was about to end or smth...
Think it might be a prelude to news? ![]()
EDIT: Eh, probably not--I hadn't noticed the last trivia question like this when it came up, and no Merrill news followed that.

My character is so ridiculously powerful at this point, he just looks around and is like, a dragon? That's it? Is that supposed to scare me...?
Cool! ![]()
Late night trivia XD Too bad it's way too easy.. for devoted Cullen fan like me ![]()

My friend reminded me while ago that Dragonborn thing was the main quest. I though it was the civil war
Either one of my two character haven't done anything related to that. My breton is just boss of thief guild and my imperial storm cloak champion or something like that. I have done lot of side quest but somehow that part haven't caught my intrest ^^;
I can't believe they actually asked a Cullen question! Cullen never gets mentioned in anything!
I think they are really enjoying Greg becoming so involved, and are running with it, which is fine with me ![]()

I wonder if Greg had known earlier on into DAI's development and had been so involved that perhaps Cullen would've ended up as a companion too? Ah well, I guess it's too late now, lol!

Wow, I love your profile pic, that's just amazing....you've done a great job ![]()

Hey, we still have 5 months!
They might throw some random quests in that we can take him on.....hoping!

Exactly! This thing sounds like it was made for me. I am so psyched. ![]()

Campside sing-a-long, Leliana on the lute and Cullen on vocals.....
Is it just me, or does DAI sound like it's going to be very complex and complicated?
In terms of plot or gameplay?
