Is it weird tho having your mom be excited abt Cullen?
Nah, not weird at all. She is seriously swooning over the guy that does the VO for Fenris lol She just had her 61st birthday, she's been playing my copies so I decided on getting her the two games for herself as a late b-day present.
I don't know if this happens to anyone else - I'm playing a bunch of games at the moment out of sheer boredom waiting for DA:I and I am hearing the DA/ME/Bioware games VO's all over the place. Cullen, Fenris - I think those were kingdom of amalur and Meredith in Skyrim - don't quote me on it I'm playing so much at one time hehe (I think it was more but I can't remember them all)
I'm hearing voices
As for the romance with Cullen / npc.. To be honest I *am* sort of worried. I didn't really like it in ME3... I really like having the LI in my group and part of the party banter. The comments from other members about the romance - like Zevran to Alistair. I worry that the romance will feel diminished somehow because of that lack of banter while trudging all over the place. But that is just my personal feelings w/o knowing what it will be like - they have said that you will have to go back to base a lot in DA:I so maybe there will be a lot more interaction in "camp". I keep going back to the PAX? video where he announced Cas and Cullen as LI's - where it was said it's okay if Cullen is a little awkward.. I'm evil.. I'm really looking forward to him being awkward if he is.. like in DAO where he bolts if you flirt with him... that was just awesome. I liked the Seb interaction in DA2 because if how embarrassed he got haha So I would be a happy me if Cullen is all cute and shy at the start with romance and all assertive in his role as a leader.
As for how hard the game will be - I am.. worried.. a little. As someone who plays on easy-as-possible mode, unless I want to unlock and achievement, I'm sitting here, listening to them say how they wanted to make it challenging, and cringing. Really hoping my mother and I aren't too hopeless for DA:I lol Especially mum, she has bad arthritis in her hands so she is slower that the average younger gamer (she can't control her character with the keyboard she is mouse only for movement and clicking skills) ... too challenging can mean not enjoying herself and giving up. She finds ME impossible to play, she was loving the story but the controls, shooting, needing to use the keyboard, was too much for her.
Wow, I'm going to shut up now. Didn't realise I was typing so much.
