Not sure, perhaps there was always a vein of red lyrium there and it grew? Does lyrium even grow over time? o__o

I wasn't going to go into it but since you mentioned it, yeah mum has lupus. Its out of control atm - systemic lupus, so yes she has the joint problems, foggyness etc etc.
I'm really sorry to hear that. I have SLE, also, with intermittent flares. I hope your mother feels better soon.
What I find with keyboard vs controller is there's pros and cons. Controller is easier on the joints more immediately due to the amount of finger stretching keyboards take, but my hands can lock up really badly if I lose track of how long I've been holding the controller. It's an issue that sneaks up on you, rather than the constant stretching for buttons being something you realize hurts the whole time.
Like Ophidiae said, I hope they have a narrative mode if it's going to be that difficult. It would definitely solve this kind of problem for a lot of people.

lol
Edit: top of page Cullen?

Alright, I don't mean to repeat myself but I don't think you all had a fair chance to see what I have made. It was my first post with the new forums and by the time a moderator accepted my post, this thread was already some odd pages ahead, leaving my little tributes buried. So just in case none of you have seen this. ;w;

Okay, once again catching up here. I apologize in advance.
I think it's one of those things a lot of people don't realize they have. The infamous test is of course being able to watch a youtube video of that abomination of nature the Surinam toad...I knew I had some kind of trypophobia after that*please no one post an image of it!*
I looked up trypophobia. Why?!? Why would I do this!?!? I am now pretty sure I have trypophobia, I can't even look at that stuff without my temperature spiking to 102 and breaking out in a sweat.
"The Inquisition has three major facets, and each of those facets is led by a particular character," Lee says. "Each one of those facets essentially has its own talent tree, and through them you can unlock various benefits for you and the Inquisition." -- GameInformer June 2014 preview
Talent tree to unlock benefits for the Inquisitor, huh? Honestly, this is all I can think of...
MilitaryCullen Talent Tree:-- Stealthy Flirting: So subtle and awkward that you may not know he was flirting til it was too late.
-- Liquid Courage: Overcome fears of intimacy and fraternization within the Inquisition ranks.
-- Love of the Maker: Cullen sings and suddenly everyone's kissing everyone.
-- Cook's Night Off: Romantic candlelit dinner, so long as it's not also your turn to cook.
-- Templar Business: *fade to black*unless you've installed Sleep Until Dawn*
-- I Told You So: Automatic, 'get out of the doghouse free' card. Good for only one argument.
Dear Bioware, I ask for this ^ and only this. Nothing more.
I love when someone does a piece and includes his beauty mark. I have no clue why. Please tell me I'm not alone.
No not alone, I love it too

And re issues with hands, I just hope DAI will still have the tactical pause. With my carpal tunnel syndrome, and a kid, I want to be able to take a break whenever I need it.

I think it's more of a natural defence mechanism. A lot of things in nature that have holes can be pretty dangerous, such as bee and wasp hives, so it's only natural that it should provoke an uncomfortable feeling when we see that sort of thing. I don't think trypophobia as most people know it constitutes a real phobia to be honest and it's not formally recognised as one either as far as I know. This made me look it up, and the same thing happened to me.

Two things.
1. Y'all might want to post over in this thread about Narrative Mode: http://forum.bioware...ive-difficulty/
The more of us who speak up and say, yeah, this is a feature that would be really really useful for gamers with disabilities and/or chronic illness, the better.
2. I feel guilty cluttering up the thread like this. Does anyone know if there's a place on the Forum for Dragon Age fans with disabilities to share stories/coping strategies/vent? And if there isn't, do you think it would be useful to start one? Or do you think it would just bring out the trolls? I feel very safe talking here, because y'all are really sweet and accepting, but I don't know about elsewhere.

You can always talk about that here; no one will mind
If they do, we'll have Gala or Samara or someone draw the Iron Bull sitting on them ![]()
You could additionally try starting a group, then advertise the group in Scuttlebutt. As for trolls, if someone says something hateful, just toss them into your ignore list. Voila, troll gone.

I've gotten in the habit of buying the strategy guides w/ Bioware games (ME3 and DA2) it helps a boat load (plus the DA2 one looks wicked) I wish I would have had one w/ Origins, but by the time I thought of getting it I had already done 2+ playthroughs
So long as I avoid the temptation to flip ahead and read spoilers, it works out really well!
I do this as well when they're available. I'm just gonna do the 'forbidden-for-tru-gamers' thing and rock an easy/casual playthrough.

We should start a support group for this. It doesn't really seem like a phobia, more an aversion so we'll call it "The people who hate gross, creepy cluster holes Support Group" mhmm probably couldn't have thought of a better name
