I didn't care much for Cullen simply because he never had that big of a part in the previous games. Though, I am very interested in seeing his views on the Mage-Templar War, considering what he's been through.

I'm partial toward Ralph, the Fade Cow.
But there is a whole herd, so I think everyone could have one.

But of course, Fade cow live in abundance and often travel in herds. Fade Cow are easy to capture and train. They like to eat many things such as Fade grass, Fade wheat, Fade potatoes etc. The Fade cow mating season is late in the fade summer where they pick a partner and make cute little fade cow babies. Fade cows hobbies include but are not limited to, Fade Chess, Fade Stamp Collecting, Fade Rock Collecting, Fade Board Games, Fade Darts, Fade Billiards and Fade Synchronized Swimming. Fade Cows are excellent companions and great mounts for they can carry heavy fade loads. WARNING: DO NOT LET A FADE COW NEAR YOUR COIN PURSE, THEY WILL STEAL IT. FOR THEY ARE SHIFTY AND THIEVING.
Well that is enough Internet for me tonight, Goodnight All, may you all dream of Flying Fade Cows and Cullen. ![]()

Hm, it still doesn't contradict the possibility of the return of the griffons, so I'll be holding my fingers crossed! If we can't fly a griffon, it doesn't mean I can't have a baby griffon! I'd call my Noodles, after Cullen's hair. ![]()

I was 41. I still did tabletop, but hadn't played a computer game since college.
OTOH, my hair started turning white when I was 19, so I've been confusing people about my age for years.
A bit startled when I misread as "I still danced tabletop"... ![]()

I was just thinking, if this peace gathering happens at the Sacred Ashes site and the Divine really is one of the people there doing a talk about reuniting Thedas etc, surely Cassandra and Leliana should be there to guard her since an assassination attempt would be high within such a large crowd? Hell, even if the Divine isn't there you'd think that she would've asked Cassandra and/or Leliana to be there for various reasons. Makes me wonder why they weren't at the gathering (aside from the fact that everyone dies, LOL!)
Maybe the peace gathering is being held within days of Cassandra interrogating Varric in Kirkwall? And thanks to Varric's messing around with the storytelling she ends up late and is literally only a mile or so away when the blast happens? So as she hot foots it up the mountain to try and save the Divine Cass and her soldiers witness the protagonist stumble out of the Fade and they're like WTF?
I also wonder why Cullen wasn't there if he's not being held captive somewhere and really is just leading the faction that later causes him to become our military advisor. I mean, given everything you'd think he of all people would be the first one to show up at the peace gathering!

I don't know what to think about the timing or placement of the explosion. Everything you said is viable at this point until we know more.
Cullen may still be in Kirkwall cleaning up the mess. He'd be next on the chain of command, no? Someone has to create order from chaos so I don't know that'd he'd leave immediately... unless he's arrested I can't see him just throwing up his hands and saying "You guys are on your own!".
I'm also wondering this: Veil tear... bad demons unleashed... are the good spirits let out as well? Could that be a reason that our Inquisitor is still alive - the benevolence of the Spirit of Helpy-Helperton a la Wynn?

It's a really good point about how Lel and Cass can't be at the site of the explosion since they don't die. Veeery weird that they wouldn't be with the Divine. Do we know for sure it's her that dies? We were told 'leaders', right? Maybe it's someone else?

I love the train of thought in the 2nd paragraph. That's a good scenario, I think. Maybe her and Varric will have a bicker about it later. On the one hand, maybe Cass thinks she could've survived and helped save lives. On the other hand, our "fantastic dwarf" probably saved her life by telling such an elaborate story, therefore, making her late, as you said.

I'm just assuming that it's the Divine. Either way, you'd have thought that she would've sent Leliana or Cassandra there even if she wasn't going to attend... unless she suspected something would go ****** up (like a prophecy within a dream) so she sent Leliana, Cass and maybe even Cullen to do other things and went to the peace gathering purposely without them, knowing that her time was up? Thus saving them, knowing that the 3 of them would play an important part in helping bring peace to Thedas (obviously without directly knowing that some poor schmuck was gonna get sucked into a giant veil tear and come out a total badass, LOL!)

D'oh! The time gap didn't even enter my head. Ha! Time to free base more coffee.
Even if it is the Divine that kicks it, I won't really be too surprised at the absence of Leli and Cass since she's always sending them around to do all the things.

These are all good points. Jeesh, now I'm seeing a plot bunny with Leliana concerned that Justinia is going to this peace gathering without them, and Justinia reassuring them that it's OK and they must all play their part... ![]()
I just adore Justinia as a character. I'm so sad that it seems they might kill her. She never... even ... got her own character tag on fanfic.net... *sniff*sniff* ![]()

lol, I checked the system reqs for Battlefield 4, and looks like I need additional 4 Gb of memory. Funny, when Skyrim was released, it didn't know what to do with 4Gb I already have. Ah, the progress is unstoppable (or optimization sucks).

LOL I think I would laugh out loud if we got ANOTHER good spirit inside of someone like that. Probably like I laugh every time we got into the Fade awake in every single DA property eventho that's a really really rare occurrence. ![]()

You do, really? Can I ask... why?
I know she appears at some point in Asunder but I remember absolutely nothing about her.
Also, I hope she doesn't really die at the beginning of the game because otherwise, who's hosting the ball in my fic? #ZombieDivine #priorities

After writing her, I just find her really interesting. Someone who was a wordly lay person, maybe a Bard even, shoved to the head of the largest religious order in the world, trying her best to twitch and nudge things to help the world, yet stymied by inertia and politics. I just want to know more. You do, really? Can I ask... why?
