My guess is that Meredith was left where she fell/was encased in the red stuff as a warning or as a shrine or both. I can see templars loyal to her fencing it off and keeping vigil, hearing whispers, going mad, etc.

I think its just the term man, referring to human. I don't think its sexist, even if it was a woman they would still probably say "Be a man." Its just a phrase, or at least that's how I'm taking it :3

you know, in the chaos that is Kirkwall, I could even see enterprising individuals chipping off bits of her and selling them as relics. So there's templars, etc. running all over the place with a little bit of Meredith in a bag around their necks.

I am of the mind that perhaps the presence of lyrium can amplify the powers of demons, if not actually corrupt them outright.

It's balanced out by the "Black Divine" of Tevinter.
I figured that was done purposely to make us dislike the character more.
Meh, for all his issues, I do think Gaspard does respect Celene's abilities greatly. Like she said, she hasn't ruled the largest known empire in the world with ball gowns and parties.

That would be a tough battle. Especially if it could stop your mages from using their abilities. That's something I'd like to see in general. If we fight templars I want my mages to be useless or partially useless, in DA2 there was no real issue with that. Make me fear them! D:

I'd say dragons are more related to the Veil itself, like Yavana mentioned. And with the Veil coming down, more are starting to reawaken across the world.
I wonder if missing Warden Queen is affecting Alistair :3
I also wonder if missing mage warden would affect Cullen/would be mentioned.
