Can someone explain in which context Gaspard stated that phrase, and to who? I know the events of TME, but i still haven't read it.
Even in Thedas men and women are supposed to be equal, there'll still be people that think that women aren't suited for a leading position. Plus, Orlais isn't exactly the place where should look for equality. The chevaliers are still, as far as I know, largely males.

Which phrase?

Yeah it's definitely not my favorite place in Thedas lol

*wonders idly if she's the only one with an executed Alistair*

My Warden needs to have a serious talk with you.

I personally don't mind spoilers, as I usually only have one or two playthroughs of a game, so I like to know ahead of time what choice I should make so I don't F up my playthrough :3

Yup, that's him. And...oh boy...the irony of you mentioning that fight, given what's currently happening.

I wanna say it so bad, but I won't.

You can spoil me; I don't care  I don't even know if I'll continue TME. I really don't like it.

I'm pretty sure someone said somewhere that the Keep won't actually import saves, you just recreate your saves via certain flag markers (did you murder knife anders/ let anders live, etc.) So unless they have two character customization processes before the actual game just to make your warden/hawke, I highly doubt they'll have cameos

Might be a minimal character creator (I know it's a lot of work on their part, but I can dream D: ) to be honest though, I'd be happy with them being mentioned. I like the feeling of having what I did in the other games being connected to the world.

I would love to see an Alistair and Warden reunion part way through the game. o__o

tumblr_inline_n2rt6bJx7J1rtxhyw.gif

Oh lawrd the feels

You don't know how much I need this :crying:. Alistair not knowing where his warden went must have caused him so much heart-break. I want them to reunite and I want them to run into each other's arms when they do see each other.

Thinking more about this, DAI can give players the rare opportunity to see their past pairings again. Except this time it will be from afar. It has the potential to be very heart warming and nostalgic , letting the player know that those crazy kids you pushed together all those years ago are still ok. Excuse me I need a moment...*sniff*

I don't think you'll hear or see from us for 3 days. At least not me. If I'm at my computer I'm going to be in DA:I :P

Oh,I'm not really worried about the Cullen thread or any thread for that matter...Just for my insatiable curiosity.  :D
If you want be spoiled you'll find a way,so I think I'll just unplug my laptop to be safe!

Gaspard says that in a confrontation w/ Celene while they are alone. He says it in an almost respectful way.

Why kill Alistair? Unless you're playing a psychopathic character. Which I can see being fun lol Although I personally couldn't do it. Killing companions or giving them back to slavery, nope I gotta draw the line sometimes! :P

I don't want DA:I spoiled for me, if it happens it happens, but I like to fumble my way through on the first play through and having to live with the consequences. :3

I just want to know where my warden Queen is, I want them to mention that she IS the warden queen (married to Alistair), and why or how she got to where she is.

I don't give two sh*ts about Hawke :3

Yeah, the information on this has been confusing. I wonder if it'll be possible to import just character creation from the previous games and then flag the events in the Keep? It seems like they've made a pretty big deal of the Warden and Hawke having a role to have it end up being nothing.

Oh are you guys talking about the "Were you a man..." line?

Um that second part is definitely personal interpretation  Regardless it's still steeped in sexism. "Oh you poor delicate female, suited only to ballgowns and flirtations; too bad you don't have an awesome male body and mind like Yours Truly; you'd rock at it!"

:P

Reminds me of Elizabeth I, "I may have the body of a woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a king."  The things you have to say to convince the men in the room to follow you, sheesh!

My headcanon for the time being is that Alistair knows where the Warden/his wife is, but he's keeping it secret because she asked him to.  ;)

Everything is always a mess! You accidentally anger your companions, you ruin peoples lives.
DA:I is going to make this even tougher with us having to save towns or keeps. Having these big decisions to make is going to make my first play through a big mess. lol

I completely disagree, but like you said, the line is up to personal interpretation.

My God, my first playthrough in DA games are always a train wreck lol

First DA:O playthrough: had to sleep with Morrigan, never confronted Leliana's former lover (I ain't spelling her name lol), didn't get the earring from Zevran *sob*

First DA2 playthrough: Literally missed Isabela cause I didn't know you needed to return to the Hanged Man for stuff like... talking to Varric or whatever lol Probably missed about 20 other side quests, too.

Well, it's more Gaspard's opinion than something general. We already had sexist characters in the previous games. The fact the men and women are equal doesn't mean that there aren't sexist people.
