We can do that?
Learned an important lesson.
Do not look at forum while in mid-conversation.
Me: *bored, hits refresh* So then, what we need to do is send out communication to the - *looks at page*
Him: What?
Me: *cannot speak*
Him: So.. you okay?
Me: *FLAIL*

booked the day off for E3!
then I realised the level of my madness - I took a whole day off work for what will likely end up being 3 minutes of choppy livestreamed video.
Though I guess the 4 hours of dissection of said video will require concentration and lots of ice cream.
LOL I just printed out the errata and shoved it in my book.
I've been meaning to go through the book with a pen, but...
I did the same thing at the beginning but i end up writing it in the book (with a pencil, i didn`t want to damage it
)

LOL I know what you mean. I simultaneously love and hate writing in my books. It gives me a surge of power and ownership, and then guilt that I damaged it.

The World of Thedas exclusive edition is so gorgeous! I love that Harrowing artwork too. I really wish they'd gotten the timeline right regarding the Architect/Alistair's birth-date the first time though. I was so confused and frustrated by that. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get that information into my book in a way that's compatible. Can't they just print up a nice, glossy page of corrections and send them out to everyone who bought the book, as a mark of superb customer service?
I really hope that the people killed at the Breach were high level representatives of the factions, and not the leaders themselves. I want to meet Justinia and Fiona in DAI, and I want Alistair to meet Fiona!
Does anyone else think that Justinia might be a mage herself? I haven't finished Leli's DLC, so I don't know if that contradicts the theory, but I like speculating on the idea. I wonder how Cullen would react to that. (Yay, I stayed on topic!
Back to catching up...)
You have the exclusive edition? *she says, trying to hide her immense jealousy*
I wish I could afford one
but sadly, food wins out over pretty books
*sigh* I wonder how long I can go without food.........

One week, maybe? That should be enough.
Priorities.
Don't have one either, will join.
I know the devs has already given us tons of information about the game (i didn`t expected they would released this much so soon
) yet everyday i wish they gives just a bit more...i feel like an anxious child pestering her parents "Are we there yet?" ![]()
I'm assuming everyone saw this, right?

umm are those what I think they are?
Man lots of chauvinist undertones in TME, especially with Gaspard; Orlais court life, at least, pretty much resembles 18th century France as far as my limited knowledge can make out. Kind of disappointing
Here's a completely OT request: can anyone recommend a GOOD fantasy novel where men and women are equal in the made up society? Bonus points if queer characters exist too and are not ugly stereotypes. I need some summer reading material, and TME is making me miss my fantasy reading days
Real fast, since I'm on my way out the door....
I am super fond of the works of Patricia McKillip, who writes a lot of fantasy novels featuring women in lead roles. My top favorites are: The Forgotten Beasts of Eld, Ombria In Shadow, and Alphabet of Thorn. No queer characters, alas, but I love her dreamy, lyrical prose, and the fact there are women in positions of power and authority in all her books, and no one thinks it odd in the slightest.
The lack of female-driven epic fantasy is something that actively irritates me. And while I can think of a handful of fantasy novels with queer content, they're almost always M/M, with few or no female characters even in supporting roles. (A Companion To Wolves, I'm looking at you. Good lord, was that book a hot mess!)
I have tons more I could say on this topic and how it relates to women in the world of Thedas, but my groceries are not gonna buy themselves, and I'd really like to have something to eat for dinner tonight. ![]()
I have a question. I believe i saw in one of the devs interviews that this time around it will be more difficul to develop a full friendship with all the companions due to our choices in game but i can`t find it
. Do you know where it was or am i confusing things?

Lol, I'm sure the other guys are more excited about it .... I'll go take my mood off the forum, before I upset another person.

I love Ms. McKillip!! I especially love the covers by Kinuko Craft ![]()
I, too, love The Forgotten Beasts of Eld, but I remember re-reading it as an older and wiser (and clearly jaded...) adult and there were some minor troubling feminist issues, but what can you do? Her stuff is still awesome.
Really awesome image of Cole that I wanted to share
Don't post pics of adorable characters we can't romance

I think they're red and they only look brownish because of the awful lighting
Definitely red armor.
