So when did Greg realize how popular Cullen was? It was only recently right?

Within the last month or so, yeah.

It's all the sudden sauciness, Hannah. Twitter's like "...no freaking way."

Aaaaand we're back. I'm me after all.

I was seriously worried I had gotten banned because that's just how my mind works.

I'll chip in if someone wants to get him a copy. He'd need a UK version, I suppose.

Is he being serious? Because I would totally send him a copy. But he would probably not be comfortable sharing his mailing address.

Nah there are actually names that originated in American but they are usually pretty unique. Like shaquanda.

That's true.

Cullen is both a first and last name. And I'm fairly sure it's his first name.

Yeah DG's tweet suggests as much.

Ok, I won't bring it up again in case it's awkward but if the thread collectively wants to organize how to get Greg a copy of the game to thank him for his support of the fans I am happy to pay for it. Let me know if this is something we should look at doing?

I'm sure he wouldn't, but maybe he can receive mail through his agent?

I went ahead and guffawed. What's the point in using a closet for an office if you can't guffaw when you feel like it?

I clearly need a better office. This one is suppressing my fangirlness. -_-

Aww, you poor dear! :D Eighteen rabid fangirls repeated what you said and they're still on Twitter, a'twitting their lives away. Don't you worry!

We could send it to his agent if we could work out who that was or bioware?

I think it would be a nice gesture to do something for him after how kind he's been to us.

Haha, it's fine, I'm just a pessimist! About a month ago I received a letter from my program manager and before I opened it I was terrified that I was getting fired. (Even though firing me by letter would make zero sense because I'd still have contact with the residents until I got it.) Turned out it was a very sweet thank you note for my anniversary of service and a little gift certificate. Not fired at all. But of course I worried because I'm me.  :P

I think it would be nice, too. How would we go about organizing it?

My mind works that way too. If something weird happeneds it always always always leaps to "I did something wrong!" Or "Oh god I'm in trouble!" Lol! I have no idea why.

Here's something interesting, ancestry.com has a life expectancy chart for certain names. So in the 40's People named Cullen were expected to live to about 45/50 and now it's in they 80's. At first I was like "That's dumb a name doesn't change life expectancy." But I though about it for half a second and the culture could. So if someone grew up without any money back in the day their life expectancy would probably be lower then that of someone with wealth. However that child who had wealth might have a different more elaborate name like Christopher or Reginald or what have you. And the parents might not want to give their son a name that was more commoner like Cullen (not saying that it's a commoner name, just an example.)

I think that sounds like an extremely kind and fun thing to do! He's playing it on the xbox right? Maybe send him a tweet letting him know that we would like to thank him for being so kind to his fans by purchasing it for him, and just ask what is the best way for us to get the game to him?

I would like to chip in as well, but I have to see how much my paycheck is tomorrow and how much I have left over from taking my new puppy to the vet. I'll know by tomorrow night how much I can throw in.

Maybe Cullen will always just be Cullen. Like Cher or Madonna...Cullen. For some reason now I'm thinking his name would be a good name for a cologne lol

Normally when you're trying to send something to an actor, you either go through their agent or send it to the production company they're working for. Since Greg doesn't work exclusively for Bioware, the agent might be less complicated.

I realize he could get the game for himself and I'm sure the tweet to @bioware was a joke, but he's been so lovely to us it seems like a small thank you is in order.

The one who purchases it can send us his/her paypal info and we'll send her e-checks?

Would we send him DA:O or DA2? He has a bigger and more interesting role in DA2.
