I've probably started at least 20 Hawke's and had maybe 15 full playthroughs Usually romance Fenris, but I've done 'em all, except Sebastian.

 

I've started most origins in DA:O but have only completed 2.

 

And I have two full playthroughs of the whole ME series, Kaidan both times

I thought I played it too much with 6 play throughs. I should play again! I've romanced all the dudes in the game...none of the females, perhaps I should next time. 

DA2 is so short that I've done Fenris (12 or so?) Anders twice (rivalry and friendship), Merril once, Sebastian once, and I'm working on my Isabela romance playthrough now.  DH doesn't play many games anymore so after kids hit the hay, I have quite a bit of time to play.  Insomnia does wonderful things for getting those playthroughs knocked out

I just use all my time to play. I need to look into rivalmances more. I've only rivalmanced Sebastian. The only time I was a rival with Fenris I was so mad at him for hating me all the time I just obliterated him in the final battle

Whoooooooa. While I haven't finished playing ME yet, I have heard enough about it to know that you can have a pretty tragic ending. But that's insane lol

In regards of ME, while not my canon, and not something I generally do, I rolled a Colonist/Sole Survivor male Shepard

that lost his LI on Virmire, romanced Miranda in ME2, lost Garrus in the Suicide Mission, was forced to kill both Mordin and Wrex for not curing the Genophage, killed Kaidan in the confrontation in the citadel, didn't give Miranda info and then she died at horizon, choose the geth and watch another friend (Tali) kill herself, and then lost the last friend (Liara) on earth (not sure about this one). It was completely tragic.

I honestly couldn't wait, so I play them as they come out (same with The Wolf Among Us). My friends and I make a little event of it all, with me streaming it as I play through the episode. Though I'll always go back and make a different save just to see different outcomes or do things that I regretted not doing/wondered about in the first playthrough. Both games are just so good.

I can't wait for Tell tale games to come out with the Game of Thrones and Borderlands games. Those will be mine, right away.

Good morning everyone  I'm Jenn, and I've been a lurker on the BSN since March 2013 (ME3).  I've been a Bioware fangirl for much longer than that, but up until March I didn't have any games on the PC so I didn't bother to sign up on the forums.  

 

Just was dropping in to say I really liked the blog post.  I've really wanted to romance Cullen or at least have him as a companion since he stuttered everywhere to my Amell  Now, all I can say is bring on the Cullen!

 

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Please stay and play. Things are gonna get real interesting here about 200 pages from now, and I'm sure you'll want to see it.

So apparently I missed the Rise of the Cullenites when I got away from BSN in 2012 for family reasons Was it the leaked picture from DA3 that gave the 2.0 thread the second wind?

 

From what I was told, it kind of fizzled out a little after you had to go, but was rebuilt shortly after... timeline-wise, it looks like it did coincide with the leak. But I'm not positive.

Oh yesssss, what little they've shown of Tales from the Borderlands has definitely piqued my curiosity. We'll likely see more of it (and first details on the Game of Thrones one!) at E3 *hopes*

Possibly .
It's not something I generally do (that Shepard wasn't even evil, just really, reallt unlucky), but. I enjoyed roleplaying him. ME offers a lot of tragic options.

I've been thinking a bit.

As Cullen is now a confirmed LI in the game, are you going to be romancing him on your first playthrough? I remember playing DAO for the first time as an elf and discovering just before the landsmeet that making Alistair the king without having hardened him would make him break up with you. Took me completely by surprise as I had not been spoiled on it until then. Such plot twist are great but have a way of messing with your plans Are you going to try and avoid any possible twists with the Cullen romance by playing the game once before romancing him to see what his role is?

I personally am a little on the fence about it. On one hand I like to plan how I'm going to play a game but on the other I loved the twist on the Alistair romance as well as the whole Dark Ritual thing with Morrigan so I would hate to miss out on the surprise!

Sounds like my history, but I have probably close to 30 Hawkes and 20 playthroughs (2 Isabela, 2 Merrill, 1 Sebastian rivalry, 1 Fenris rivalry, 1 Anders rivalry and all the rest Anders friendship).

 

The only DAO playthroughs I've finished have been f!Cousland (1 queen, 1 remained a Warden), f!Amell (became Alistair's mistress), m!Amell (Zev's plaything), and a whole lot of games where I've completed up to Lothering, which I pretty much despise.

I'm a straight male who prefers to play straight male characters, so I won't romance him in my first playthrough. I'll probably do it later. Don't know which gender in the case he's available to both.

I appreciate people like you who can RP the tragedies.  I have this problem with getting too involved and Im all happy happy joy joy!  So it's kind of hard for me to get into the tragic, but I love seeing what happens with every little nuance, so I watch things like that on YT.  Rivalmancing Anders was hard enough for me, I just can't imagine being mean to Fenris with his puppy eyes lol.
