And, not to step on any toes, Tranquility is a terrible, terrible procedure, and I can't imagine anyone who has undergone it, then the reversal, would be super keen on falling in love with anyone, let alone someone so representative of the organization that convinced them they should tranquilize themselves in the first place.

While it'd clearly be much more difficult of a romance, I dont think we would have been made tranquil simply because we asked. I'd say it's more because we were forced.

And now, the more I think on it, the harder it'd be to pull off having a Former Tranquil character.

@Sister Goldenring, I'd say leave the BioWare aspect to Lola. She has the better connections and contacts.

Yeah, I agree that Lola would be a good person to act as the Bioware contact person for the group. I think Nikki said yesterday that she would send any messages though. I think that if we are going ahead with the idea, it's probably time to get things moving though. Hopefully, they'll turn up today sometime and we can decide on a course of action.

Alas, I agree. It would be very hard to pull off a Tranquil mage character well. 

 

ASUNDER SPOILERS

The only way to do it, I think, is if the Rite of Tranquility happened relatively recently, and thus the emotional back-up was far smaller and, thus, more easily explained away. Why we became Tranquil would probably be related to the Mage-Templar war, which could enable us to side either way. "If the mages hadn't started the war, then I wouldn't have been made Tranquil int he first place." or "The Chantry and the Templars are monster for allowing this in the first place."

 

It would be hard to justify being able to romance Cullen, or even Cassandra, but it could also be an interesting story to tell. Interesting, but so hard to do it right, and I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to do it.

 

That doesn't stop me from wanting it, though!
