I'm not sure I feel it is invalid, not if we're going to be able to have different keeps that seem to fit the theme of that leak.

 

Most people think Cullen would fit the military one, I sort of agree. Beardyface Grey Warden could also fit, if he had been in any position of leadership with many years of combat expertise. They could both be valid in knowing how to boss people around and whip them into shape. It all comes down to which one's been chosen, if any. 

 

I'm greedy though. I want them all!!!

Me too, actually so far I am excited about all the companions, potential and confirmed. Hence the major conflict

Hey, remember when they said we could designate a holding as military, trade... and something else?

 

Maybe Cullen will command our military castles, Scribe Girl the market ones, and Leliana the... spy ones?

Depending on how many faction keeps we have, that'd probably be too many for them to be stationed at. My bets on them staying at the keep, or traveling with us and popping up in camp. And they'd probably be at the faction keeps when we visited.

Yeah, I guess it makes sense. Still funny thought of leaving him in the Keep and then him popping in one of the holds: I presume you do not like the idea of traveling with me much, ser Culllen ;]

Not mine either, I am probably the most interested in espionage. But hey, for Cullen :]

One thing that's always nagged at me about Cullen being a miltiary advisor is, well, isn't that a different skill set than actually being a fighter? Or even leading troops? I mean, I guess we know nothing about Cullen's skill set in that way, but still, it makes me hesitate.

Not really? Nothing factual, mostly just speculation and debating.

 

PAX revealed there are Red Templars in some snowy Highlands area, though, so some of us think that might be where we run into Cullen!

Well,the templars are technically an army,don't let them fool you  !And Cullen has been already in a leadership position as Meredith's second in  command which pretty much makes him suitable for the task.

I hope that part is in beginning of the game then. DAO's beginning is torture without Zevran on team! Origin, Ostagar, Lothering and one place in main plot before Zevran : ( I hope that doesn't happen to Cullen!
