A-HA! I rest my case!!! *finger point*
Want a cookie, dear?
Did you really just dig up that quote to make your point?

I just asked Mr. Ellis on twitter if St. Jude's is his charity of choice. I'm assuming it is, but confirmation would be cool?
Hey, just so I'm not being gauche and missing the fund drive, did GE ever reply about the offer to supply him with the games?

No thank you, I am on a diet!
No I've been reading/keeping up with the two romance threads.

I don't understand what we are doing. We aren't buying him the games, so we're donating to St. Jude's... why? I'm confused. I already donate to St. Jude's. That's why they keep sending me all that junk mail.
happy page 800 again

Upon receiving @dragonage the game I shall play with myself (messy fumblings) & live tweet the experience to the #Cullenites
I hear there will be a #DAI Ubber edition as in more ubber than the Delux? Is this true? Or is the delux as ubber as it gets?
Can there ever be enough uber? I think we can do even better.

Yeah, hope it's not £200 or something lol
Girl...even if it was $300 that baby would be mine mine mine!
"The Gaider Edition"? Where @davidgaider reads you a bed time story at your house.
*goes into a fit of giggles*
You know, I might actually pay $300 for that, but only if he made it up as he went. The guy has a lot of creative genius, and I'd really prefer to hear the **** he makes up with a totally free rein. The more wildly improbable, the better!

We were going to buy him the games? I probably should try and catch up on the thread after all.
Also, what kind of charity is St Jude's?
its a charity for kids with cancer....
its a charity for kids with cancer....
Yeah it's like if you can't pay to have your kid treated, St. Jude's does it free of charge.
It looks like a braid around her head.
A braid... or a giant skull-sucking black earthworm...

I don't believe we're actually *doing* anything at present. I had suggested earlier that, if we were not going to hook him up with the games (I suspected he would get them elsewhere.
), that maybe we put that enthusiasm and cash into a charitable donation to his choice of charity.
But please don't think anyone *has* to do anything. I would hate for someone to feel that way.
Well, I am back from my whirlwind trip to Syracuse. I am exhausted and my brain is fried (um... if you're going to talk neurobiology to me, could you please speak a little more slowly?
) but I am now relaxing at my house and have caught up on the thread. ![]()
If it turns out that we are not able to send him the games (for whatever reasons), then maybe we should find a way to take the same 2-5 dollars or whatever and donate it to a charity of his choosing, in the name of the #cullenites ?
I think that's a nice idea. ![]()
As Cullen is now a confirmed LI in the game, are you going to be romancing him on your first playthrough? I remember playing DAO for the first time as an elf and discovering just before the landsmeet that making Alistair the king without having hardened him would make him break up with you. Took me completely by surprise as I had not been spoiled on it until then. Such plot twist are great but have a way of messing with your plans
Are you going to try and avoid any possible twists with the Cullen romance by playing the game once before romancing him to see what his role is?
My Inquisitor is definitely going to fall hard for Cullen on the first playthrough. If the interest is mutual, she'll romance him. There's a good chance he won't be interested, though, since she's a mage.
If romancing Cullen isn't an option for my Inquisitor, I'd be open to a romance with a different character but I don't have anyone particular in mind. The Inquisitor may win someone's heart, and if not, she'll just have to be happy solo.
I'm not too worried about spoilers one way or the other. As it stands, I don't plan to seek them out but I won't be a huge purist about avoiding any possibility of them.

Yeah, it's an amazing charity for kids!

Ah. Probably not much use for that here with the awesomesauce that is the NHS.
Yep.

Shall I assume you are heading up the Ser Cullen fund drive? If so, count me in.

Told you so ![]()
I don't understand what we are doing. We aren't buying him the games, so we're donating to St. Jude's... why?
Well, the main point of organizing the gift-giving was to do something nice for Greg as a thank you for how kind he's been to us. If he no longer needs the games (if Bioware sent them, if he bought them himself, etc.) then a charitable donation has been suggested as a Plan B thank you gesture. ![]()

Yes, but sadly we can't all live in the UK. Besides, if I moved to the UK where would I get my triple bacon cheeseburgers and my guns?

Ah. The US is just beginning the painful transition to nationalized healthcare. There's a lot of opposition from all sides.
