The more I look at that new picture from Felicia Day's YT video, the more I adore the companions! They're just so derpy, LOL!

Solas carried the same "sword" thing in the trailer as Vivienne does in that image. You can see it's very short to be a staff in the trailer too.

 

In the TME novel one of the Elven mages has a staff that shrinks down to the size of a small twig... Actually, I think it might literally be a small twig, but it grows to the size of a staff when he wants to use it.

It's enlarge the Shot, you can see something near his eyebrows. It isn't very clear, and he never had tattoos in previous shots, so I'm probably wrong, but that's how I see it.

One minor con I noted is that there's clipping in a lot of shots (One time Vivienne, one time Solas, the Inquisitor in this Shot and the trailer). It'd be probably fixed before release, but it was shown a lot of times.

What news this past week?

 

I don't think that there has been any big news lately. Well Greg tweeted that he got Dragon Age and is going to livetweet while playing it but no date and time given yet ^^; I look forward it thought. He even made pun of playing with himself

 

Also I think there has been talk about donating to something as nice gesture for Greg Ellis. First there was plan to buy him the game but he got it himself probaply from Bioware so this is plan B. But I'm not sure if it has been completely agreed yet with everyone. Oh and it's not something mandatory of cource, it's just something everyone can do if they want to.
