I didn't take that chaos option to be a bad thing. I mean, chaos always occurs when you overthrow something or make big changes to anything, so I took it to mean that the chaos leads to rebirth in terms of ridding Thedas of the old ways and trying out something new.

For example, this thread is new and it's chaotic, but it's by no means a bad thing!

In this case, I believe Chaos could be synonymous with change...I can't help but think of both Morrigan's and Flemeth's quotes on that theme.

lol both true, But same thing can be said about WW2 and that was pretty chaotic.. and had a lot  of losses and torments till something  good and new came along... and that's kind of what im afraid of... I mean personally I like order but I also would like for things to change in Thedas,

Like the way mages are treated, I don't think that's right, and it DEF needs to change, but i don't want to be brutal about it tho...  I just want it to make it as reasonable as possible without that much bloodshed... I mean we already got that in DA2 and I didn't like it either way weather I was siding with the templars or the mages... a lot of innocent ppl got killed and i do not want to repeat that if its not necessary... but i suppose in a time of war....  everything is "necessary"  in order to get victory in what you are trying to accomplish.. witch is sad... but true...........

I think that this initial Veil rip is expanding and is a sign of the Veil itself actually beginning to fall, which explains the many different tears opening across Thedas.

And like Yavana said, when there was no Veil and DRAGONS ruled the skies...

This still sounds to me like the dragons of old were part of the Fade, i.e. amongst the Maker's First Children, shut away from the world of men (the Maker's second children) by the Veil.

I hope so! They can even make this option really hard to achieve i just want a happy ending as a choice.

Personally,I would like to try every possible outcome and decide which one fits my each of my characters, but It would be unfair if there wasn't such option although at this point I also think it's unlikely for such thing to to happen.I agree with you about making it a little harder to achieve than the rest  of the possible outcomes,it would make it even more rewarding.

Interestingly Cameron specifically says in the GI article that we were "pushed into the Fade". See, now I'm wondering if maybe a temp companion pushed us in to save us from being killed in the blast.

... I bet it's a bloody childhood sweetheart/friend or feckin' family member/mentor who does it. Dammit BioWare, why you kill all the pretties?!  :(

How do you get pushed into the Fade? The Veil Tear? But if I'm trying to save someone from a giant Veil explosion thing, my first thought prolly would not be push them into it.

Either way, that's a nice nugget of info there. I didn't see that myself. And that one line really gets my thoughts thinking... maybe the force of the explosion pushes us into the Fade?

oh, DAI, I must know your mysteries. Give it to me. Naow.

Very possible. The Chant references similar themes, if I recall correctly. However, I don't think the dragons were necessarily shut behind the Veil. Like in Yavana's temple, I think the Veil merely forced them into sleep.

Plus it's BioWare, there's always some sort of awful stipulation and outcome to everything we do, lol! Be prepared for tears and heart ache!

True, altho it makes me wonder if we chose to got the chaos route... will that mean that everyone will die tho in order to  rebuild something new? And maybe get rid of the oppression of the mages and such? Personally I dislike those type of scenarios, like i don't want my party members to die, nor my protagonist in order to make a big change on the world.. and certainly don't want Cullen to die in the name of "sacrifice"  for a better cause, yes i know im lame and like all sunshine and rainbows and happy endings and such... but i just cant bring my self to do it...  hopefully there will  be some sort of compromise that we can acheave that goal without too many losses...

Well, if that's the case, then I'm lame, too. Lame and proud of it. guddamit.

Then again... what is sleep but having your consciousness travel to the Fade...?  ;)

Reminds me a little of Supernatural, where Purgatory was designed to contain all the Leviathans and Eldritch monsters that came before God created Angels and Man, since they were too dangerous to be left running the place in his new Creation.

If not the Maker, then I could see someone or something erecting the Veil to keep the Demons out.

Interesting choice of words, wasn't it! I mean I could see someone fall into or get pulled into it, I could even imagine someone getting sucked into or accidentally knocked into it, but pushed? That suggests something/someone purposely shoved you in. If that's the case then who and why?

Oh ****, that's really sad. I'm sure they'd let the OP play it early on site if he/she could reach out to the devs?

I like that. That's sorta what I was imagining. The Chant of course talks about this... but the verse was later struck from canon.  :bandit: Dun dun dun.

The Old Gods will call to you,
From their ancient prisons they will sing.
Dragons with wicked eyes and wicked hearts,
On blacken'd wings does deceit take flight,
The first of My children, lost to night.

Not sure. Maybe so.

Though this wasn't as bad as the confession of that boy who would commit suicide if Cullen wasn't bi in DAI.

Isn't that verse describing how the Blight happened? Dumat deceitfully tricking the magisters into storming the Golden City, only for them to turn into the first Darkspawn?

Or maybe pushed meant knocked? I love this.

Or building on my pet theory: we were indeed there catering the event when the explosion happened....and then...a stampede of ppl were running trying to get away from the explosion and we got shoved into...a low hanging Veil Tear  . Along w/our signature Cumberland Cucumber sandwiches and a platter of Deviled Eggs--spiced just right w/ a special blend of seasonings straight from Par Vollen.

what?

It's about the Old Gods singing to the magisters... but it's about the Old Gods being locked away. So before the magisters broke into the Golden City.

Then that makes me wonder how Fen'Harel (I will bet money that he's real) fits into this. I mean, it's we have had hints here and there about him.
