Sorry for the OT but after seeing all the talk about Asunder and Masked Empire i start to be very curious about them, so i just order them from Amazon  ! I can`t wait for them to be delivered  ! Just to be sure of the order, the first one is asunder right?

 

They overlap. I'd probably go for Asunder first, personally.

 

Also, how do you think Cullen would react to Cole?

 

When I first started reading Asunder, I thought my Inquisitor could talk Cullen into being okay with Cole. I thought she could convince Cullen that Cole was really a lost soul who wasn't responsible for the things he was doing and needed protection and supervision. Since Cullen has a decided protective streak, I thought it could go okay after some initial friction.

 

After reading the epilogue... I just don't see how Cole and Cullen could possibly work.

 

I honestly am not sure Cole and my Inquisitor are going to work unless he's gotten significantly better at masquerading or the ending of the book gets retconned.

Aw, I'm so sorry to hear about Ser Pouce.  Pets really are family, and it's really sad that he didn't make it.

Actually World of Thedas documents Lambert as "missing in action". It makes me think that he is still alive in some fashion. Or at the very least, where is the body?

I'm still shocked Cole is even IN DAI, to be honest.

 

So am I. I really thought he was out just because I'm having trouble imagining him working in the average party.

Just to make sure, you realize that kittens dying suddenly is extremely common and there was nothing you could have done to prevent it, right?

Ohhhh the flood gates will bust open now. I do think it was my fault, yes. I do think he was weaker than his sister but he seemed to get better, so I thought. His one eye that was kinda half closed opened fully and the cut on his face he had when I got him healed up as well. The past 2 days he wasn't eating all that much or moving around as much. I figured, "Well he IS a teeny baby, maybe he's just tired or calm natured." His cry has never been loud, either. You could barely hear it. In contrast, Hawke is a little piggy and she crawls (albeit shakily crawls) all over the place and her cry is REALLY loud. So I'm hoping for the best. I just feel kind of naive now, like I should've known something was wrong but I didn't, because I've never done this before, still though - it crushed me. I fed him this morning and when I went back to feed them again, he was lifeless. Ahhh. Sorry guys!

I've felt this way since the beginning. Plus it just seemed like a fun inside joke between the devs. It was never supposed to be a serious thing, but people just took it and ran with it.

 

 

Agree.  Which is why I'm glad we don't spend pages discussing it anymore, TBH.

I don't think anyone took it overly seriously. It was just something to discuss and try and guess at when there was information dry spells. Sort of trying to guess the Dev's inside jokes, I guess? And having fun with it. There's no need to come down on people for that, I don't think?

It wasn't your fault. Some kittens are simply born weaker, and they don't make it. There's nothing anyone can do. 25% of kittens die before reaching adulthood, and bottle babies are especially fragile. I actually considered warning you about this when you got them, but I didn't want to make you worry. Now I kind of wish I had said something to prepare you that this could happen.

 

You took the best possible care of him. You gave him a safe place, and I'm sure he was happy with you. Unfortunately for many of the wee kittens that's the best anyone can do because they just have a short time and there's no way to change that.

Ah, I'm sorry that happen! Hindsight is 20/20 and it's a terrible feeling to feel you could have done more, if you were only more alert. You still have the other little one, though, and it sounds like she's going strong. You're doing your best, and that's all anyone can do. Do their best and learn from the experience. *virtual hugs*

Re: Inquisitor. The name I'll pick for mine will be Rhiamon, if she has Fereldan origin, and Circe if she's Tevinter/Nevarran.

Oh, I just realized I will have to role-play a mature person, because my Inquisitor must be 30-something. I wonder if I can do that. I wonder if she can do that. Looks like being a Circle mage prevents you from becoming an adult, just look at Rhys, or Anders, or Adrian. They act like I did when I was 14.
