I know you never said you hated his voice. Okay Hypothetical situation. What if you had to kill Cullen? Could you do it knowing that he is voiced by Greg Ellis?

If there was a compelling, in-game reason for using the murder knife on him, absolutely. The character is not the actor. ETA: And vice versa.

Well If I can answer too.. screw the voice, I wouldn't kill Cullen cause Cullen XD
For me voice actors don't ever matter that much, I haven't been big fan of them so characters voice actor doesn't influence me at all ^^;

That said... actually meeting an actor will occasionally cause me a bit of cognitive dissonance when I watch their work later. I was lucky enough to get to spend some time with John Noble a few years ago. Ran into him in the outdoor smoking area at a hotel a few years back, and we wound up chatting for over an hour about history. He was absolutely lovely. Ever since then, whenever Denethor comes onscreen in Lord of the Rings, I can't help thinking "That John Noble is such a sweet man!"

It is kinda opposite for me. The first character I hear them voice, will always be the character I see them as. Even when they are playing someone else's voice.
For example: The first time I heard Tim Curry, it was as the mouse king in Barbie in the Nutcracker, that was my favorite movie, still kinda is. Tim Curry will ALWAYS be the mouse king for me, always. Whenever I hear his voice I'm like "Who's watching Barbie?"

They have a yearly showing of RHPS at a classics theater in my town. They go all out for it. I went to it a couple years ago with a friend. I didn't go over the props list before hand, so I got really confused when people started throwing rice, toast, and playing cards, and yelling a**hole everytime someone on screen said Brad Majors. My friend thought it was hilarious, and then threw rice at me.
