this is also my hope since it shows up in DAI. My unfortunate suspicion, however, is that the book in DotS is subject to the same hand wavy retcon as the Kirkwall mention and the Justinia-Beatrix mixup. My feeling is the the movie makers orig intended DotS to fall between 9:37-9:40, which is why the orig official production blog listed the Divine as Justinia (who only ascended in 9:34), referenced Kirkwall (!), and ended with Cass seemingly being sent on her quest to find Hawke. Something (!) made them change it.
So now I reckon the book is just some Book of Secrets that Cass's investigations get added to over time. hopefully there's a more elegant explanation.
I'm so sorry about your Ser Pounce, ilikesocks.
I hope all goes well for little Hawke. ♥
I really don't understand the deceptive wax fruit. To me, that means something that looks shiny and interesting on the outside, but is actually bland and unappealing. Why would they create such a character? Is it a temporary companion who dies early on? I could understand a character that was deceptive wax fruit filled with nasty poison...
Not that this was ever meant to be a serious discussion. It just confuses me!
This is exactly how I picture Cullen.
I don't see him being vulgar in a really offensive way, but playfully naughty when he's comfortable with someone. I also wonder if some of that raunchy stuff included "Okay, now make passionate kissing and grunting noises."
Yes! In my mind, my Cousie completely lost it, and Alistair had to figure out how to stop her from hacking Howe to bits without getting himself killed in the process! She did not handle that encounter well.
I guess I could kill Cullen if it were absolutely necessary, but if there were ANY way around it, I'd take it. I really, really don't want that to be an issue though. Cullen has been through enough, dammit! I agree with Galagraphia about the indestructible plot armor.
Really that's an interesting interpretation, but then again the name of the "food" is confusing by itself it could either be a fruit made from wax or a real fruit covered in wax as a preservation method. But yeah as interesting as the whole food list may be,it shouldn't be taken seriously.
I don't see Cullen being vulgar in any way to be honest(especially an offensive way),at least not intentionally.Although I can see him making some unintentionally naughty comments occasionally and then being slightly embarrassed about them perhaps.
*sigh* Yeah........... I get that a lot. Mostly when hitting on other girls though.
Really?I find it rather flattering, when other girls hit on me.
Speaking of flirting,I hope our flirt lines in Inquisition will be better than Hawke's cringe worthy lines. While I'd like some of my characters to be more straightforward, while others to be more subtle,I just automatically noped and regretted the moment I pressed the heart icon and my Hawke opened his mouth.

I still think it means something more than just a weapon.
Red lyrium me thinks... or a thaig with dwarves
This is what I think, too. Very interesting.

I thought this too. I guess I need to see DotS. Is it worth buying? I don't suppose it's on Netflix...?

I can give you a site to watch it on for free. It's a pretty decent movie.

To me wax fruit and suprise meatball both seems like characters who first seem like something but are different inside. I have no idea who these apply though. I can't see Cullen being like this cause I feel like we know him as character already and I doubt they would make something large suprise to his character for DAI personality wise.
I have a problem with "surprise meatball" ... I mean, just no. In ANY case. I hate meatballs, first and foremost, but what does surprise have to do with it? Makes it so daunting. "Surprise!" *throws meatball at face* or *bites into meatball* "Surprise! It's full of razor blades and sorrow!" Yuck
Wax fruit kind of worries me. Please don't let Cullen be wax fruit. :S
I think that someone mentioned crack theory previously about Cullen really being Uldred in disguise? Wouldn't that be quite wax fruit character? XD

Lol,now I kind of wish we had the option to throw meatballs instead of bees.
It's pretty much an inside joke between the devs, about a party where one of them brought meatballs and place them where the chocolate was,and each time each of them tried a meatball, they were surprised because they were expecting to eat chocolate but got a meatball instead.
ALERT ALERT THE WESTERN APPROACH!!!!!!!
